Hello Everyone,

Been a sunshine and showers day here today.

I did manage to get into my garden today, the first time since early December. My daughter managed to get me down the steps in the wheelchair. Sometimes I can leap up and stand on one leg as long as there is something to hold onto to, then she can bring the wheelchair down the steps and I can get in again. Anyway, I was surprised at how much I will actually be able to do from the wheelchair.
I was too cold to do anything today, but warmer days are coming.

Berona - I remember my wedding day too. Married in a small village church on a Welsh mountainside. It was November, and the church was shrouded in a thick mist. There was only one single bell, that sounded very eerie as it echoed across the valley.

Hello anybody who is looking in. It has been quite warm today, but with a cool breeze. When I was married 55 years ago there were supposed to be showers, but I don't think we had any. Not that I would have noticed anyway, I suppose! :-)

Hello all. Just checking in to let you know I'm still here and all is well.
Daytime temps still a little high, but bearable and nighttime temps just a little bit too high - I often wake during the night feeling a little 'sweaty' but not enough to remove the covers - just push them down until I begin to feel cool - then pull them up and I usually go back to sleep then. Still quite hot for autumn, but it's mercurial over the next couple of months. I clearly remember my wedding day, late in April and it was a day like we are having at the moment, and yet, over the years, the anniversaries have covered just about every kind of weather we can have here from very hot to very cold and very dry to torrential (for our part of the country).

No point in saying hello to Mersey, she has vanished

we are leaving first thing tomorrow to stay with my sister for a couple of nights. I will take my tablet but I won't be able to be on line during the evenings. we are going to a 90th birthday party on Sunday afternoon, we should get back in time to go to the cinema social on Sunday evening
