I will have the sink lowered - it makes sense, and will save me struggling.

I have to go back to Shrewsbury next Friday for the op to take the filter out.
Have to be there at 9am, and it's a two hour run, so that will be an early start :-)

Yes I thought it was a good idea, and shouldn't involve too much work. I will keep the original doors so that the sink can be put back where it should be and doors replaced one day.

A temporary ramp is being made for the front door, and someone is coming to look at the back because that is more of a challenge.

Berlin sounds very interesting, Linda. Internet problems are so frustrating.

Lowering the sink would be a good idea. It all goes towards you being fully independent.

Maybe you could keep the original doors so they could be put back at some stage

Berlin would be interesting I would think, I believe many of the old pre war buildings still stand, and I expect the site of the Berlin Wall is now a tourist attraction.
The weather should have warmed up by then I hope.

I have spent most of the day trying to book a weekend break for a few weeks time. The internet cutting out has made it a really slow process
anyway I have booked a weekend break to Berlin. It isn't easy from up here because the flights are so poor

I have no idea whose connection I am on, but the silly people don't have a password on it

Annoyingly I have the password for next door for when I go babysitting and I can't find it. They wouldn't mind me using it

Didn't you have a new router a short time ago?

The router just keeps disconnecting. I have connected it via a yellow Ethernet cable and checked all the settings and they are fine

What could be wrong with your internet. I think you said that your son will be up soon and he would look at it

I am having terrible internet problems, I am currently connected to next doors system, but that probably won't last

Hello Everyone, :-),

Disappointing day weatherwise, dull and wet, and very windy.

Officialdom called today. The supervisor of the Home Care ladies that are calling on me from Monday onwards. Just checking on what kind of help I want. Initially they call for a six week period, then I decide if I can cope without them.
I'm sure I will, I value my privacy and independence.

The other caller was from the occupational therapy unit to see how I was managing. I struggle with reaching the sink, filling things from the tap, washing up etc, so she suggested sending someone in to lower the sink.
Sounds like a good idea, I would of course lose the two cupboards beneath the sink where I keep cleaning materials and things, but I could manage to store them somewhere else.

Tec couldn't get back onto GR, he sent me an email asking me to say goodnight to you Sue
