I was most impressed by the delivery. They arrived 15 minutes after I got there, chatted for a couple of minutes and were gone.

The ramps will make a big difference. You'll be able to go into the garden and survey your domain :-)

Good Morning Sue,

Hope that your daughter's delivery arrived safely :-)

Things are fine here. I am managing very well so far, with no obvious problems.
I do need to sort out having ramps installed front and back. At the moment I can only get out the front door if someone is here , which they won't be next week. There is no way I can get out the back at the moment, but I have someone coming to look at the ramps situation.

Hello everyone :-D

I hope you are settling in well, Tec. I'm sure you and and your daughter are solving any problems that are coming up.

Sylvia - I know what you are going through although I live much closer to my daughter. It's dreadful to watch them go through something like this and feel so helpless. I hope it all works out one way or another <3

Good Afternoon Sylvia, :-)

It is wonderful to be able to post from home. I am just so happy to be here.

Sorry that you are worrying about your daughter's problems. It is difficult when distance is involved, and you can't be there to discuss or advise,

Hi Sue, and everyone

Tec ................. it is so lovely to see you posting from home :-)

everything is much as usual here ....................... daughter's problems don't seem to be getting solved, tho' they are seeing a counsellor. It's so hard when you are not near them :-(

I listen to the tone of her voice when she phones more than I listen to the words.

Ah well ...................... spring is coming, and that always makes me feel better :-)

take care everyone

I have been out shopping all day, bought lots of stuff, all necessary of course :-D

My feet are killing me now, it is far too hot in the shops. We are on cinema duty tonight which I could do without.

They should be able to run another cable down the outside

Goodnight, sleep well <3

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 17 Mar 2014 22:19

I am thinking of having a small tv put in the kitchen, but I don't want cables everywhere. I have a satellite dish. I might just have a word with the local tv shop who installed my FreeSat box when I cancelled SKY.

Well I'm off to bed now,

Sleep well Linda when you get there,

Goodnight,
Tec
:-) :-)

There is no cable here. The TV's run from aerials in the loft. The house is an L shape, so each TV has it's own aerial

You can split the signal from an aerial, but when OH tried to do that for one of the TV's the signal wasn't strong enough, so it was easier just to put an extra aerial up there

You can get indoor aerials for smaller TV's, but we have never found them very good. we are right on the edge of two TV areas so the signal from either of them isnt brilliant

Bye Sue, enjoy your day later :-)

Linda is your second television cabled in, or do you get some other form of reception?

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 17 Mar 2014 21:57
