Hello everyone - and especially Tec. So pleased to know you are home at last!
Also, it's good to know that your daughter will be staying with you for the week. it will give her the opportunity to see how you go and what ideas she might get for any more changes which she thinks would help. Sounds like they did a wonderful job of making your new bedroom comfortable. Just don't go trying to do so much - and do what she says! There are times in our lives when the daughter becomes the mother - even if only for a short while.

I can imagine how excited you must be to be home, but you will no doubt have very mixed feelings as the days go by. That's only to be understood and I hope you can make arrangements to visit the duchess as often as you can. My thoughts are with you.

I went with OH to a nearby recycling centre because he needed some pieces of wood. I've never been before - I couldn't believe what people throw out :-0 there was a set of six beautiful old carved chairs that only needed reupholstering for only $10 each. I bought five plant pots for 50c each and the man allowed me to take cuttings from the plants he had decorating the junk yard.

I hope your OH is feeling much better, Linda.

Great to be back where I belong, and I know that no one is going to bound into the bedroom at 6 o'clock in the morning,, banging on the lights, and shouting loudly :-D

My daughter is spending this week with me. I don't think that I will have any trouble managing things , but should anything prove difficult then I'm sure that I'll find a solution.

I have met one of my neighbours new dogs. I met the older one that she is keeping. He is a lovely placid old thing - quite a big dog too. So I'm looking forward to him visiting me.
