I'm sure that you will have warned your daughter Sue of her grand mothers single mindedness, or did you leave her to find out for herself - how unkind :-D.
It will be a good test of her powers of persuasion and diplomacy :-D.

Well as I am quite tired, I am going to get ready for bed now.

Enjoy your day Sue, and Berona,

sleep well Linda, and Mersey,

Goodnight,
Tec :-)

Is your mother staying in the same area or moving somewhere else?

SueMaid Report 13 Mar 2014 21:27

OH is pleased - of course he has to see the specialist again but we know he wants to avoid surgery and will be pleased that the physiotherapy seems to be working.

My daughter has taken over the sale of my mother's house and the buying of a smaller place. She is doing very well as I knew she would but I think she has found out that my mother has a mind of her own and if she wants something no amount of advice on my daughter's part will sway her.

If you say so :-D :-D

Well when you throw your toys out of the pram, that isn't surprising

Good Morning Sue,

It is good news that you OH doesn't need an op on that knee - best avoided, however minor - of course I had to go for the full monty :-D

My daughter can be quite bossy, until I give her a "look" then she knows to climb down :-D
She sometimes seems to think that she is my mother :-D

Thanks Linda :-)

Looks like rain again - our weather is so unsettled at the moment :-(

Good morning Sue.

I was pleased to read that your OH won't need an operation Sue

Hello everyone :-D

So pleased your bed has arrived ready for your big day, Tec. Daughters can be quite bossy at times but for all the right reasons.

Mersey please be careful with that pink dust - it's all over the floor. Linda has enough to do tending to her poorly OH without vacuuming all the time :-|

Hope your OH is starting to feel better, Linda. I'm pleased to hear that Esme's heart test had a good result. I hope Eve doesn't still want her bobble when it arrives :-0

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 13 Mar 2014 20:58

That is good news for little Esme's heart check, they can't be unduly concerned about that.

Poor Eve, losing her bobble that way. I don't suppose she'll want it now, even if she finds it - life is a bitch at times

:-D :-D

LindainHerriotCountry Report 13 Mar 2014 20:45

I have just spoken to my daughter. She took Esme for a heart check up today. That was fine so she doesn't have to go back for a year.

Eve managed to swallow her hair bobble today while she was at nursery. Apparently she was very upset because she wanted it back. They had to take her to get checked over, just the nursery covering themselves I think. It is just a question of waiting for it to reappear

ok, thank you.

The bean bag is part of the tray, I will send you a link to the sort of thing I mean

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 13 Mar 2014 20:10

Hmm, a craft tray to put the laptop on is a good idea. I've got something like a small beanbag that would stop it slipping.

I shall be looking for all sorts of gadgets to make life easier. The OT people gave me one of those grab stick things, that help you reach things instead of stretching.
I've seen litter collectors using them in the street.

LindainHerriotCountry Report 13 Mar 2014 20:02

Yes I have spoken to your daughter, she sounds just like me :-D :-D :-D

A TV in the bedroom would be a good idea for when you are tired, you can be cosy and comfortable. Get a craft tray to put your laptop on so you can use it in bed. Or an ordinary tray, the type with the bean bag on the bottom. It means that the laptop doesn't slip and it is lifted up,so the air vents aren't blocked by the bedding

I hope you can get your internet fixed soon, in case you disappear altogether.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 13 Mar 2014 19:56

I'm not afraid of my daughter - of course I'm not - don't be silly :-D :-D

Have you ever spoken to my daughter? :-)

I think I might get a tv put in my bedroom. Might be useful if I want to go to bed early and watch tv, especially in the winter.

My internet is really playing up, so if I disappear you will know why
