I just need my son to sort the connection out as he set it up in the first place. He is coming up in July to see the Tour de France, so I will just have to bang mu head on the wall until then. The laptop is only a year old, so I don't need a new one

That all sounds very strange Linda. Maybe it needs a specialist to take a look, or maybe if you can nurse it along till Christmas, you will have a ready answer when asked what you want in your stocking :-D

My laptop is connecting now. I have no idea why it suddenly declares limited access which actually means no internet. It refuses to connect to Eve's internet with the same problem. Her father can't work out why either. He has to set up a special network for me, but that stops their wireless printer from working

No I haven't heard anything back from DVLA, but didn't expect to really as it's quite a complicated situation, especially as I'm still on a relatively high dose of morphine, that is decreasing weekly - now on half what I was taking.

I am going to chop my laptop into little pieces as it has stopped connecting to the internet. Nothing wrong with the WiFi as my tablet works.

Yes I will Sue, but it's only a small one that breaks down to go into the car.

Depending on how things go, I might trade it in for something bigger. I can't actually get out of the village on a scooter, apart from the hills, it's too dangerous. :-(

Some of the mobility scooters are difficult to handle, and OH has to be careful of his knee.
Maybe better if you are there Sue under the circumstances. The lady might need some consoling.

Can't stay for long as I have to go out early with OH - he has a mobility scooter to pick up and can't manage it on his own. Also the lady has just lost her husband so OH thought it would be good if I was there.

After a few lovely sunny days it is quite overcast today :-(
