Hello everyone :-)

It is traditional to have a BBQ on Australia Day but the weather is miserable so that will change a lot of people's plans. It's quite cool for summer at the moment.

We do have cake in Australia - it was introduced by the Europeans about 20 years ago. We are a bit behind the times ;-)

Hello Amanda, I haven't heard anything today. I don't want to pester them, I will wait and see if they contact me tomorrow. They were really good to let me know within an hour of Tec coming out of surgery so I could tell eveyone

Do they do cake in Australia Linda ? I thought it was all " barbeques " and sausage sizzels ? :-S

I have , like all of us , been thinking of Tec and his family all day , I am hoping that " no news is good news " all things considered .

We have been without the car for a few days now :-( On Monday we should get a call to say how much needs doing to the engine , fingers crossed it isn't going to be to awful .

Hello Hayley - Bali is lovely. Lots of sunscreen but we had no problems with insects. Hope you make sure you have plenty of room in your suitcase for all the bargains. Try to get to Ubud and make time for the Discovery Mall in Kuta :-D
