It will be boring without dinosuars

SueMaid Report 24 Jan 2014 22:18

I still worry about my family when they are driving and they're all in their thirties :-(

I won't be putting little dinosaurs in my terrarium, Linda.

I will put a photo up when I've made the terrarium, Carole :-)

Tec has loads, I am sure he will let you have one. We have a couple kicking around which we don't use

I have taken a keen interest in antiques, only learning and looking, although I would really like to have a lovely old mantle clock. Its on my wish list, when I find it :-)

Sue the terrarium will look nice amongst all your lovely cane wear. I haven't seen one for years. I would like to see a photo when you have made it.

Hello all, I am relieved Tec is over the first hurdle, but as Allan says, there is still a long way to go.

A group hug sounds lovely Carole

Hello all,

Linda, thanks for the news about Tec's operation. I am extremely pleased that he has come through it so well, although the next few days will also be worrying in case any complications arise.

I recall Tec's tales of Fremantle from the times he visited. Ironically, I was at a conference in Fremantle a few years ago where I got chatting to the Guest speaker. He had also been in the Merchant Navy in his earlier days, and he was telling me about his memories of the hotel we were in still having a hitching rail, complete with horses, outside.

Tec also remembered the hotel :-)

Hello dear friends <3

Aussie thread group hug right now would go down well :-) As we breath a huge sigh of relief for Tec <3

Tec's wonderful personality comes clear through his written words quite clearly and I'm not surprised he is the same in real life, he has that certain something special <3

Sending my love to you all <3

Hello everyone <3

What a restless night I've had thinking about Tec and hoping all would go well.

I am also very grateful to you Linda for keeping us up to date. It's times like this that I realise how far away I am.

Tec in "real life" is just as he is on here. A charming humorous gentleman who thought it was wonderful that we all travelled to Wales to visit him without realising that it was our pleasure to do so.

Linda and her OH made two strangers very welcome in their lovely home - a visit we will long remember.
