Hello Linda, Allan and Amanda :-)

Linda I think Allan would suit a flat cap :-D

Allan are the temps still very high or have they dropped a little, btw how are the bins are they behaving themselves :-D

Amanda I hope the problem with the car isn't to serious or expensive. I'm ok thank you, I have my appeal date for ESA, it is the 5th Feb but don't have much hope of winning :-(

Hello Diane and Allan.

If you don't have much on top Allan, it is a good job you are not here as it is so cold. Either that or you would have to wear a flat cap

Jem , thank you for posting Shauns lovely poem , he is a Bard I think :-)

Linda , hope you don't go and catch cold after your soggy trouser episode :-0
Thank you for the up-date , it does make you wonder what the hell those Drs are like , if they keep changeing their minds about procedures :-|

Mersey , you where missed yesterday , hope your okay :-D <3

Sue , hope you don't get any more power outs , is it really hot where you are or has the heatwave passed for the time being ?

Allan , it is lovely to see you back on here and it's kind of you to keep Tecs seat until he can return to us :-)

We have had a bit of a day ! We went out to run the dogs earlier , Bandit does like to chase her ball and Milo has a bit of a go but as he is 13 now , we don't let him go silly mad . After the run , we popped to a garden centre to return a bag of seed potatoes that OH wasn't happy with ( they where covered with " scab " ) . On the way back , going along the duel carriageway , the cars engine just stopped ! , thankfully we free wheeled to a large lay-by . I had to get out as the car was still moving and start pushing it into the lay-by . Obviously something major as gone on in the engine :-( So , we are stuck on the duel carriage way , it's raining ( well it would be wouldn't it ! ) , poor Milo is already half knackered and we have no option but to walk the mile and a half to our daughters house . Getting over the road was a bit hair raising :-0 I'm not to good at moving fast but we managed it eventually . Milo was so worn out by the time we got to our daughters that he collapsed on her dogs bean bag ( which is a wonder as he doesn't get on with Buster ....lol ) .
After a nice cup of tea she gave us a lift home . OH got his friend to tow the car to the garage we use and we are awaiting a phone call tomorrow to find out what is what .

One of those days I suppose ...lol

Dear all

The exterior of my head is sparsely vegetated at the moment. It matches the interior in this respect

That will be remedied when the current hot spell of weather ends and what remains of the external vegetation will be removed altogether :-D :-D

Hello everyone :-)

Thank you again Linda for the update on Tec <3
I often wonder what our NHS is playing at :-| How can they now say the procedure is now no longer necessary ? I hope all goes well with the op on Friday and that Tec recovers well and that he is soon back home and joining in with all his friends on GR as I and many others really miss him and his wit :-) <3

~~~~~~ to all my friends on here <3 <3
Thank you for adding it Jem, it is lovely and I will make sure Tec gets it
Latest news,they are not doing the procedure to fit the filters as it is unnecessary.
So why were they going to do it in the first place?
The amputation is to be done on Friday afternoon
Just great given the total lack of care in the NHS over the weekend, My sentiments there, i am sure Shrewsbury hospital are first class - they had better be :-|
SHAUN (MagicWales-Welsh Thread) has asked for this poem, and his sentiments, to be copied & pasted onto the Aussie Thread on his behalf.
DEDICATED TO TEC, THE DUCHESS and their DAUGHTER:
A Poem For Our Tec.
When you are not well,our sun goes under a cloud.
Your presence in our lives is such a bright joy,
that everything seems under a shadow
when you're not around.
When your not feeling well,
we feel the lack
of your glowing energy
and contagious vitality.
As you are not well,
we feel incomplete,
like a jigsaw puzzle
with a missing piece.
Please rest, our dear friend take good care of yourself,
We miss you
and want you back.
Get well soon Tec because we all miss you<3
Maybe Allan isn't quite the same Berona, I don't like to mention it , but I think I spotted a couple of grey hairs on his head, but don't tell him.
Your absence is excused Sue, although you could have put your OH on the treadmill to get the electricity going :-)
Just adding my little bit to the feelings shown for Tec and the Duchess. It's nice to see so many friends from other threads, popping in to add to the support. Tec doesn't realise how popular he is!
Allan - I hope we do see you more. You haven't changed a bit.
