Late again - as usual. We are in for a hot day to-day but not as hot as the players in the Australian Open are facing (43c). Now, that's hot!!

Thanks for taking the message Sue. I have been on Ann's thread and done my duty. I'm usually ahead of her because of the time difference, and she's not ready for me - so I go away, then either forget to come back or I'm still asleep when they are busy!

The response time on this thread is unbelievably slow!

Yes - she was quite capable of handling it so she got to keep it :-). I'd forgotten we went out in the morning.

On the way out we go via Melbourne to Auckland. On the return, the trip finishes in Christchurch, so we fly from there to Auckland, then a direct flight to Perth. I'll have to check on actual hours in the air as she went last year. But her holiday was a self-drive! Ironically, we will be visiting many of the places that she visited :-0

Nah, Linda! We've managed to do that ourselves :-D :-D

We may come back for a trip, Mersey, but not this year. We are off to NZ in April for a twenty day tour. I'll send Persie a copy of our itinerary and see if there is any chance of catching up :-D

I don't envy you the commotion of the construction over the road, Allan :-(. When we moved into our house it was one of three houses in our part of the street. It was eerily quiet at night and very noisy during the day.

Linda, I've got copies of the floor plans. To say they are dogboxes would be an insult to dogboxes. The units are being built down to a price, not up to a standard :-|
