Hello Everyone,

Thank you everyone for you kind messages and welcome home.
It is wonderful to be home again.
Our daughter left for home this afternoon. She has been wonderful these past few weeks, but the stress was beginning to show, and I'm not surprised. I just hope that she can be left in peace now to get on with her own life.
I am managing quite well with the zimmer frame, and managed to cook a proper dinner tonight.
The Home Care ladies will be back tomorrow. They give us 30 minutes morning and evening, and whatever they can do is very welcome.
Hopefully our lives can now get back to something like normality.

Sue thank you for the wonderful photo's you sent. What a lovely time you obviously had in Bali :-)

Aw, blushes, I was just glad to be able to keep in touch with Tec

It is lovely to see you Carole and Persie. Your daughter and granddaughter are doing very well, no wonder you are both proud of them. I bet you will be pleased when your son finises his hours Carole, although then you will be worried when he goes of in the car.

All my lovely friends are showing their faces - what a welcome back for Tec and his Duchess <3

I agree - Linda has been wonderful keeping us up to date. It would have been such a worry not knowing what was happening.

Well done Tec, glad to see you back where you belong... August and I send our love to the Duchess as well. <3 <3

I think I would need some very potent medication just to watch the likes of Dr Who... my days of watching him stopped around the third Doctor.... even David Tennant <3 <3 <3 being one of the Docs could not get me back to watching it.

Water beds are fairly difficult to manoeuvre.. roll one way and the tide comes in and then the other and the tide goes out again and if you share one and the other person moves it is case of way hey and up she rises. ;-)

Remember once going to buy some books from a young chap and he had books all around his bedroom and books on the bed, we did not realise it was a water bed and as it was the only place one could sit we both sat down and one of us sunk and the other ended up with books all around them.. Just call us flotsam and jetsam... :-)

Pleased re your daughter Carole, :-) :-) :-), our Maia has just been accepted to uni to study for her Bachelor of Dance Studies.. you have to audition. She has been working hard in a bling bling jewellery shop to keep her in ??? well by the look of her wardrobe I would say keep her in shoes.

Waves to all..

Rides off in my pedal car... Persie

Hello all. Great to know Tec and the Duchess are back home and that their daughter is there to watch that they don't over-do anything. Good to know that there will be more help next week. Welcome home to both of you. And....thank you so much, Linda, for keeping us informed.

Amanda - I didn't think people like that mechanic existed any more! It really restores my faith in humanity!

Hello everyone :-)

Nice to see you back Tec, Ive really missed reading your posts, although Linda has been wonderful letting us know how you were getting on.
The other day at work I asked an old gentleman how he was after a stay in hospital, his answer "Sh**ouse" said with a grin :-D He'd broken his hip after a fall, he now has a walking frame which he is most displeased about.
I bet you are over the moon to be back in your home <3

Hopefully I can chat to you next week as I will be on a 2 week break :-)

Son is over 80 hours into his logbook of driving lessons, he is more than ready to pass his test I think and doing quite well, it must be my excellent teaching lol

Daughter got her first offer from a university in Melbourne, its a bachelors degree in Mental Health, that is her 4th preference, so has to wait till early next year for her others to come. She is still unsure what to do as yet, we'll see :-) I am very proud :-)

~~~~~~ to everyone I hope you are all well, its not long till the man in the red suit again :-)
Hi Sue, and everyone
a little warmer today, but also more clouds around!
It is lovely to see Tec posting again <3 <3 <3 <3
The marine life off our coast (the Pacific) is also changing, we are seeing more "warmer ocean" sea life.
But at the same time, we are losing those that prefer colder waters ................. and the salmon runs are almost all being badly hit OR are moving north towards Alaska
The Humpback Whales are becoming a more common sight up here.
take care everyone
Tec, unfortunately, shark attacks are becoming more frequent off the WA coast and we now have the reputation as the worst area for them.
There have now been at least four fatalities in this local area within the last few years, as well as numerous non-fatal attacks.
Stick to surfing your water bed :-D
It is disturbing when animals change their habits in the wild, on land or sea.
I've never believed global warming to be man made, and that it is rather a natural cycle that science has proved happens over thousands of years.
Well I am off to bed now. It is so good to be back amongst you again.
Enjoy your day Sue, Berona, and Persie and Huia,
Sleep well everyone Up Top.
Goodnight,
Tec :-)
