Umm Sue , THEY would say it is a natural cycle :-S But , it is encouraging to see that there is perhaps more fish in the sea these days . We have windfarms popping up offshore and I believe that they are places that the marine life can re -establish in saftly , as trawlers etc won't be able to go amoungst the turbines and rip up the sea bed .

Tec , the nurses should have taken the remote control off you ..... lol

I read somewhere that the seas and oceans are warming Amanda - the ice is melting in the Arctic and Antarctic. A natural cycle - or so they say :-S

Amanda2003 Report 23 Nov 2013 22:16

Tec , apparently there is a large shoal of herrings about , something that has not been heard of since the glory days of Gt Yarmouth :-0 It is interesting and perhaps slightly disturbing that the creatures of the sea are changing their normal behaviours :-S

~~~~ to Jem and Mersey :-)
I'm laughing at the thought of that bed, Tec :-D :-D
Tecwyn Report 23 Nov 2013 22:11
I'll look forward to the photo's Sue,
That bed was a stupid thing Linda - but I shouldn't have interferred :-(
I can just imagine you getting all folded up in the bed ec
Hello Mersey - good to see you too :-)
Amanda that is interesting about the whale off you coast. There have been several sightings of creatures off our coast this year of things normally found in warmer waters, even a rare turtle from South America.
Hope everything turns out alright with the bank and your daughters card.
Allan, the shark incident was horrible, and I assume is a rare event in that area.
My avatar is a Balinese dancer, Tec - I shall send you some photos now that you are home :-)
Our UKTV channel is showing old Dr Who programs all weekend. I really enjoy the old ones.
Welcome home Tec :-D :-D <3 it is lovely to see you . I do hope you are taking things nice and easy .
We have all missed you and are forever grateful that Linda has kept us all informed as we have all had you and the Duchess on our minds <3
Allan , the shark attack sounds ghastly :-( I hope you weather picks up soon .
Our local newspaper has reported that a Humpback Whale has been seen off our Norfolk coast the past few weeks , it has been nicknamed " Scroby Dick " ( as the sand bank off shore here is called Scroby Sands ). It is causeing quite a sensation .
:-) at Sue missing Tecs avatar , I know exactly what you mean <3
Tecwyn Report 23 Nov 2013 21:56
I had a sort of water bed, the water mattress moved about on its own at night, and squeeked a lot :-( most disconcerting.
It was also one of these adjustable things that you can alter the shape by remote control. I managed to get into the most awful pickle one night - it was most uncomfortable, a bit like riding the surf.
Great to see you Tec :-) <3
I can hardly ever follow it Tec! I always like the idea of Dr Who, but lose interest when I can't "get it"! :-S :-S
We are watching it on the recording box, as I had to pick up Grandson from the Cinema. I am looking forward to watching I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here from the recording box afterwards!
Talking of avatars, what is your avatar Sue?
I did watch Dr Who Jemima, but also found it a bit complicated to follow, but I am on some pretty potent medication :-D
LindainHerriotCountry
LindainHerriotCountry Report 23 Nov 2013 21:49
I bet you will both be glad to be back in your own beds, those plastic covered mattresses are awful and the starched sheets rub your heels
SueMaid
SueMaid Report 23 Nov 2013 21:44
I've even missed seeing your avatar :-D
Tecwyn
Tecwyn Report 23 Nov 2013 21:43
Thanks everyone,
It really is great to be back amongst my friends, and I certainly missed you all. The days, and especially the evenings, were so long in hospital.
Why do they insist on banging the lights on at 6-45am, when it's dark outside?
Grumps over :-D
They made us better, and that's what matters :-).
