Berona, I have just realised I forgot to answer your question about Phil.

He doesn't walk these days, except when the carers put a belt around his waist and have one each side clutching it to help him stay upright and to help him move forwards. I don't know how it will be without his little toe. The hospital phoned an hour ago to say he is going back to his care home this afternoon, so I will go to visit him tomorrow.

Its only fair they should let you know as asap .... :-S

I have booked the Christmas day meal this evening and the accommodation is booked as well,so I feel happier.

I was supposed to be doing work on the Christmas exhibition, but I have done hardly any of it. I am meeting the person I am doing it with in the morning,so I will have to do lots then

I had my short trip to Rotorua and arrived back yesterday. The full story for those interested is on the Just Jean thread.

I took lots of photos of alpacas and black swans and cygnets (not black) and have put a dozen photos on FB if anybody wants to see them. If you don't have my FB name you can probably go through Sue's page, or Linda's.

Linda - OH has been talking to his brother who told him that it has been very cold.

We've had two beautiful warm sunny days but today is overcast and forecast for more rain. We can almost see the grass grow. OH has been busy with his volunteer work and is annoyed he didn't find the time to cut the grass while the weather was fine.

We are off out for lunch today with my brother and SIL - I'm looking forward to that :-)

Hi Sue. Has the rain stopped yet?

It's been extremely windy here for the last few days, which has kept the temperatures down a bit. Yesterday afternoon it dropped all together, and the temp rose dramatically :-(

Fortunately, there are no bush fires at the moment.
