Sir Bobby Robson has died.
He was a truly great lovely man and well loved and respected by everyone in the North East.
I am saddened .. RIP Wor Bobby

Well he had a great send off at that match the other day, Mau. Must have been heart warming to hear the crowd show their love and respect. It's strange that he was lying under my bed all that time (the book, I hasten to add!). BCXX

We met him about 10 years ago on a beach in Tobago. Apparently the whole England team had been there the previous week (typical that we missed them!)

Sir Bobby was with his wife and and he very generously signed autographs for the three boys in our party. We saw him around for a few days after that and he always waved to the boys.

He was polite and charming and I'm saddened he has died.

hotel i used to work at used to have England Squad stay when they played at wembly.

He was always polite unlike some of the players.
