On the 24th September, 2009, at 1.30 I go for my SADS test, at 1.50 Mary gets her test, at 2.10m its Roberts turn, and finally at 2.30 its young Derek's turn. Pleased I am first, but not sure Derek can cope with being last, but whatever, we will know...... |

Thank you Ann, they have already told me that I have Brogada, ( a strain of SADS) as I am the carrier that gave it to Stephen and Morris, but they do not know yet if it will activate in me, my brother died at my age so its a bit scary, but we will see...... |

The good news is, they can end it with this generation, they simply take the sperm from the man, remove the bad gene and then artifically (spelling) lnseminate, then the strain will die, thanks be to God xx.. |

The miracles of science Gillian, how wonderful that this gene can be eradicated in time, and I wish you all well for your tests. You have faced everything with great courage and dignity so this is just the next hurdle and one that will be really positive for all. |

I hear about more and more of these sudden deaths, it is so tragic. 18 months ago a Mother lost her eldest, a daughter who was just 18, I do not know what she died from, leaving her with two Sons, one of them has not been back to school since, just cannot get over losing his sister, last week, the youngest boy died suddenly, god Bless those family members left behind, two children taken so young, it is truly heartbreaking. |
