No offence intended Carol but I couldn't give a toss:) God knows how many people get their houses broken into every day and it's not nice but most of us get over it - I can't see why this is news worthy just cos the bloke is a contestant in Big Brother.

I probably won't vote but I wouldn't vote for him anyway;)

Aren't there some awful people around. And to think some see that sort of thing as 'alright'. Well I don't, it wrong to trash or steal someone else's property.

As for voting for him. I don't think he's a worthy winner of Big Brother, and I certainly won't be voting for him just because he's had that happen to him

Charlie to win...because I want to take him out of there and mollycoddle him...lol

im not a fan of david but no one deserves that

burglars are the lowest form of scum

people work hard for the things they have, and for people to think they can just go in and take, or destroy them is disgusting!!!

Big Brother finalist David Ramsden's West Yorkshire home has been trashed during a break-in.
One of David's friends discovered the burglary when she went to check on the reality TV contestant's flat in Dewsbury.

Items stolen from the property – where the gay fashion fan, pictured left, lives alone – are said to include a TV, stereo and laptop computer.

Paint is reported to have been splashed on the walls of the flat, on Spen Valley Road in Ravensthorpe.

A sofa is also said to have been slashed with a knife that was left embedded in the damaged item of furniture.

Now the former Mirfield Free Grammar pupil's family is preparing to break the bad news to him after he leaves the Big Brother house on the final night of the series tomorrow.

His sister, Leanne, 27, from Heckmondwike, said: "It's a bit upsetting – you can only think whoever did this had seen him on TV and knew he wouldn't be around."

Leanne is, however, determined that the break-in will not take the shine off David's achievement in reaching theBig Brother final.

She said: "We're very proud of how he's done and hopefully loads of
people from all over Yorkshire will be supporting him."

West Yorkshire Police confirmed they had been called on Monday afternoon to a report of a burglary at an address on Spen Valley Road.

Anyone with information about the incident should ring Dewsbury CID on
0845 606 0606.
