Dear Rambling Rose

Thank you for your email.

I am very sorry for any upset this has caused you.

The thread was not intentionally removed, rather an error occurred which caused it's complete removal from the site.

Unfortunately we are unable to reinstate this thread, and ask that our members restart the thread should they wish to do so.

Best regards,

Laura

Jane, nor do I. I did not see what happened last night as I close down at 18.30, but it does not take a genius to work it out.
When I have my tipple tonight, I will raise my glass to Jean and her daughter, and to all GR members that have given this lovely lady their loving and consistent support.

I agree with McAnne about the stickied apology.

As I said on msc's thread, surely the person who accidently deleted would have known what they did straight away and acknowlege it.

Sorry, not convinced it was an accident.

I suppose it is possible it was an error, maybe deleted the whole thread by pressing the wrong button instead of the post, when requested to delete Gill's post. How many times do you see on here somebody saying 'whoops, deleted instead of postiing? Easily done.

However, once the thread had been deleted - in error-, the person concerned should have immediately posted and apology. That would have avoided all the hassle and another thread could have immediately been started and stickied.
