I am glad the headstone is now in place, Gillian.

Have you got insurance for it? I had to get it for my daughter's headstone in case it was vandalized, used a company called Stoneguard - I think that's the name, and they are very helpful and pleasant. You pay an amount to cover several years at a time.

Thanks Julie, Zoe's headstone is 35 years old now and a small one as it's a small baby's grave but with what you read these days, I got worried it would be damaged somehow and I wouldn't have the money to replace it, so found out from a funeral director about insurance, and feel better now I have it.

Gillian, I hope you find it comforting to have the stone in place, I did - it marks Zoe's grave and reminds anyone reading it if they go to that area that she was loved and is missed, and not forgotten.
