Rose I saw both of those deaths and did wonder but it would make him ( either 1 ) a lot older than her by 40+yrs It wasn't as though she was destitute and needed marriage ( desperate maybe lol ) as her father and brother had a market garden, and she already was the shopkeeper. |

Assuming that George was not more than 20 yrs older than Elizabeth. Left her prior 1881 to lead a separate life & died in the S. Stoneham district. |

Following on from Stevie's reply , if you got the marriage cert for George and Elizabeth, his occupation on it might eliminate some of those, if they can be found on census' ? |
