Hi, does anybody know of a website where you can pay to see original certificates rather than sending off for them?
Many thanks.

Sorry, there is no such site. One has to send for certificates.

Having said that, one can view parish registers at records offices for, mainly pre 1837, details of baptisms, marriages and burials, and some sites such as ancestry and find my past have some parish registers online.

Medway area of Kent has the website Cityark where you can trawl through parish records and see the church copy of a marriage cert which you can download and print off so that saves buying a cert

There is also the website BMDshare.com It's where people have shared their certificates on line, and you can put yours on to share with others. It's growing all the time so you might be lucky, I haven't been yet though.
