its true, go back in time to the days when we all had coal fires etc, thick fog in November, lakes and rivers frozen solid, fairs on the Thames, so its back to coal fires if you want save the planet.

"there is a proven correlation between global warming and solar activity, there is no such proof for the tree huggers theory, youve got to many so called "scientists"trying to justify their existance by sensationalism, havent they got anything more useful to contribute to mankind?"

MMMMMMMM could be

Did you know that cows produce so much methane that they are a real problem to global warming, plus my o.h. helps a bit lol

Been talk of cutting down on cattle now, why can't they just find a way to harness the methane?

FGS. I have to say that this Methane theory of cows causing global warming really gets my goat.

We all give of methane every time we belch & f*rt.
Rotting leaves in autumn give off methane.
All rotting animal & plant matter gives off methane.

The way that pious, sanctimonious Seagal women on the one show was going on about it. You'd a thought the whole planet was blanketed in methane gas.

And how much methane is there in the atmosphere?.....1.7 parts per million!!!

Methane (CH4) is part of the carbon cycle. Methane breaks down into carbon monoxide (CO), which being unstable becomes carbon dioxide (CO2).
This is then either washed out from the atmosphere by rain (which is why rain is naturally slightly acidic) or absorbed by plants, algae & trees.

Also what has the biggest greenhouse effect..............Water vapour.
I wonder what they'll propose next........Stopping oceans & lakes from evaporating!? lol

:o)

EDIT should have read part per million, not billion. Just a tad out. lol :o))

Ah, but you don't live in Africa.

Being denied our right to 'proper' light bulbs and having to live through the winter months in the gloom of 'energy saving' light bulbs will save the planet apparently.

Of course, setting off rockets to explore the moon causes no global warning/pollution whatsoever!!
