+++DetEcTive+++ Report 20 Dec 2012 22:59

Evening - nought on TV and OH has gone to bed, poor lamb. Getting up early doesn't agree with him

Bad luck about the BT box - I thought the signal came through your broadband, not an aerial. You live and learn!

So what pantos are you both booked to see?

LaGooner Report 20 Dec 2012 23:08

I'm seeing Dick Whittington performed by our local Am Dram group. I have only missed one performance of their's in 16 years. Really good and enthusiastic lot and the kids love them.
I spoke with Yidarmylass about a meet up and she suggested about the first two weeks in Feb. She has another hospital visit later that month which she must attend.

I have got to be up really early in the morning as I have to take H to the hospital for her surgery. Hopefully if all goes well she will be home late afternoon / early evening

Feb looks good - Exams are starting 27 Feb. Lets see if they others are available and decide a date/venue. Do you want to see when half term is incase you are littlie sitting?

Am-dram may not have the glitz, but they sure have the enthusiasm :-D

Added - hope all goes well tomorrow, and you both recover from the early start <3

YG Report 20 Dec 2012 23:14

Good luck to H with the procedure. Hope everything is ok, LG.

You are right, DET, the aerial won't affect it. It's my brain telling me that tvs need aerials for the picture, but then I am a little brain dead at the moment!!

You can lose a little picture quality with the power adaptors, but it isn't really watchable so I am hoping they can suggest something without having to have cable running round the house!

I need to go and sleep now! Alarm is set for 6am!

Sleep well, both of you, if LG hasn't already nodded off. <3 <3

It is only Fridays I sit as smallest is at nursery and larger one with childminder so no problems there. For YAL probably Mon,Tue or Saturday is best

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 20 Dec 2012 23:21

I'm easy - its up to you and anyone else who wanted to come.

We can probably work around Maz' shifts if she wanted the trek so YG needs to say how she's fixed for leave, or if a Saturday is better.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 20 Dec 2012 23:41

I'm easy too , but as you say lets see if the others want to join in and we can fit around them

LaGooner Report 20 Dec 2012 23:47

We are off up to bed now as the early start will tire me and I have got both small ones to cope with tomorrow. Nite nite and sleep well <3

Night LG - might get an 'early night' myself! :-D

If you take a break from the boards tomorrow, we'll understand why.
Sleep well

Good morning all. I hope you are all getting ready for the joys of Christmas. I am going to get my hair cut and a manicure later, just waiting for my cousin to arrive for a coffee and a natter.

Christmas day with eight adults, two teenage grandchildren (the older one is going elsewhere this year) and five little grandchildren I think the pantomime will be at our house this year.

:-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Good morning Paula

Sounds a good plan for you today - taking time off from your 'list'.

Now that its stopped raining, I'll probably double check the frozen veg situation, and purchase any necessary supplies. We might even do a dump run with the bags of leaves which have been sitting waiting for a month!

Mazfromnorf

Mazfromnorf Report 21 Dec 2012 18:22

hello well i didnt get my veg the shift was a tough one and all my times were running late so it was shut so will try monday before work as i am in for 6 hours

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 21 Dec 2012 22:54

Bad luck on both counts - hope they have everything you need on Monday ;-)

After our trip to the dump, we went to the garden center for coffee - the lady on the till said that "They are queuing to get into Sainsbury's, and queuing to get out again".
Presumably she meant the (large) car park!

We picked up a red cabbage and celery at the Farm Shop on the way home - slightly busier than usual, but tolerable. Leafy veg problem solved! That's our shopping for the next week out of the way :-D

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 22 Dec 2012 10:03

Morning all - glad you managed to get the shopping done Maz. Good luck to A if he is hoping to park at Gateshead!

Go with the flow LG. Go with the flow. Life's too short and all that ;-)

Our neighbour said she was amazed at the amount of things we used to do when the children were young. So am I, and can't imagine doing it now. Odd how we can rise to the occassion, isn't it?
