No, he didn't listen, LG, or chose to completely ignore me and put two pads to his nose at me :-D :-D Meowwww at 6.10 this morning, although I did go back to bed to drink my cuppa :-( :-(

He is snoozing in complete comfort now that he has got me up ............. grrrrrrr :-D

I need to change the alarm on my cat too lol 5.30 i was woken ,
Its wheelie bin day so i have just made it to get them out normally they are really late but today they have been.Its very wet and cold out ,I have had a cold since just before 24th dec and i just cant shift it ,I have no energy at all though i am going to do some floors later .
well maybe lol my tree is opening now lol

I've been sitting idling around and having breakfast, but need to get a move on. I think it might be a supermarket day today for a few basics and I have to find a curtain pole so that my son can fit it for me this weekend.

It is cold and wet here too, with plenty more rain to come if the forecasters are right. Lovely :-( :-(

Morning all from a very wet and windy Bedfordshire. The weather that is not me. ;-). Oh dear Maz a cold is a good excuse to do some work on your tree. I have not got that excuse but I am sure I can think one up :-D.

I have to go to the supermarket for a few basics too YG. Just hesitating as I look outside at the grey sky ;-)

does any one want a black cat ? would look good on your broomstick its been hanging around outside .its very friendly not sure if Cleo will take to it so not letting it in though its taking two of us to keep it out
we wont need much just basics I have a full fridge so will make a pasta dish today

I got a black cat thanks. She would never accept another in the house,very territorial. It took ages to get her anywhere near friendly with Fenix. H is trying to rehome her two orientals but I can't have them here unfortunately. They are absolutely beautiful

Morning all - hope you enjoyed each other's leftovers. Strange how after a while, someone else's are more interesting than your own. We fobbed...er...donated some to both Eldest and the Asylum seeker, so ours isn't quite such a daunting task!

Well done with the purchases YG. It it were us, we'd still be thinking about it! OH has decided that he wants to brave the sales today, even though we don't have anything particular in mind. We'll probably do a small supermarket shop tomorrow once we've decided what we need to top up for Christmas Mark 2 on New Year's Day.

I'm hoping that it will be dry and calm in the next few days as I've noticed that one of the down pipes has come detached from the gutter. Previously we thought it was blocked. OH isn't too happy at the top of a ladder as it is.

Morning DET. I sent a food parcel home with Mini Gooners. I have a tin of sweets unopened so I shall take them to the Pantomime tomorrow for the Brownies and Rainbows (and leaders too of course) :-D

we have no fresh to use up however we are still well stocked with food I have done the floors and washing ,however A is now at the gym and will need to change again lol

Show him how to work the washing machine and tumble drier ;-)

PC has just chucked a load of bedding in, just as I was going to jump in the shower :-(
At least she does it herself if I haven't realised :-D

Good afternoon everyone. It seems we are all busy cleaning this morning. I will be cooking my last dinner today for THIS YEAR. Six adults for dinner later will be easy peasy after the hectic but lovely few days over Christmas. I have just vacummed and changed the bedding, OH is washing the cars in between the rain showers :-S

Another success today. Curtain pole and curtains for front hall in the sale. More money spent!! But it was a case of do it now whilst son is around to fix them up for me.

A small shop done and sitting down to a cold tea tonight. I can't be bothered to cook!!

@ LG A good time was had by all. I made and froze a Jamie Oliver Christmas Chocolate Bomb for last Christmas, and we all went down with the Noro virus so did not eat it. Took it out of the freezer this morning and it was absolutely fabulous. OH is out with the "Boys" tonight so I am going to have a pamper night all to myself :-D

Ooooo that sound good Paula. We have just finished tea and when I have had a little sit down I shall venture to the bathroom for a long warm shower. Bliss
