Good morning everyone. Mr Sun is just coming out here DET, I am about to tackle a basket of ironing and make Cottage Pie for dinner. Then dentist for check-up later. :-D

Good luck at the dentist Paula.

Now here's the thing. I go every 6 months and frequently have to have something done. OH goes once in a blue moon when he is in pain, and that's the only work necessary. It doesn't seem fair somehow :-(

Not sure what we'll have for dinner tonight; we're still working through leftovers. There's a large pot of coleslaw I forgot to put on the table on NYD if anyone is interested?

DET, I've got quite a few things I forgot to put out as well........ happens every year.

Maz, I was going to ask about Auntie as well, I sent her an e-card but it wasn't opened. I hope she's alright.

~~~~ to Pauline and Maz.
Aunty used to post on another site, but hasn't been seen for some months. She'd completed her FH task of finding OH's living relations and, despite the efforts of an extremely knowledgeable ex member, hadn't managed to break through her own Brick Wall. I think she had become fascintated with on-line games instead .:-D
She has a number of email address; its possible that she rarely checks the one we have.
You never know, she might pop back one of these days when she is bored ;-)
YG Report 4 Jan 2013 18:04
Soup deliveries on a broomstick!! Sounds a bit dodgy to me, but anything to make a few bucks :-D :-D I must be missing something, so I'd better keep a closer look at the tv.
I was wondering about Aunty, too. I also sent a card and she hasn't picked it up.
Weekend >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> yeah!!!!! Oh, but the joys of having to work a full week next week :-( :-(
The replacement chain links arrived for the vertical blind today, but they are a different size from the ones sent originally. Luckily there was enough to replace all of them, so everything is good now and I didn't mess it up like my son :-D :-D
Bad luck for Paula's OH. That's going to hurt, not only in the mouth, but also the pocket :-0
Well done YG. Why ask a man when you can do it yourself?
Snooze as much as you can Maz. It's that lurgy knocking you out.
Have you recovered yet LG?
PC is on Night's so we are waiting for her to wake up before cooking.......pizza with a yellow sticker, and some of the coleslaw :-D :-D
YG Report 4 Jan 2013 18:45
I was contemplating fetching fish'n'chips, or cooking fish fingers. I have finally had a cheese omelette and baked potato!! Not a lot of difference!!! I didn't want to go back out in the cold and I have a couple of mouth ulcers, so thought something soft would be far kinder :-D
LaGooner Report 4 Jan 2013 18:49
I have a dentist appointment on Monday :-|. Think yourselves lucky,because of my problems I have to go every 3 months :-P.
I sent Aunty a card too and she did not pick mine up either.
Fully recovered from this morning thanks. Terrible mess all over the coffee table but we had loads of fun. They decided to organise a pretend pirate party for the Class Teddy that A had over the holidays. So we made paper chains,streamers,pirate hats and swords. We made a mini version for the Teddy and took a photo to put in the bears diary that travels with it.
We also took said Bear over the park and took some photos of it on the swing and slide. A was absolutely delighted and can't wait to show her teacher next Tuesday Bless her <3
YG Report 4 Jan 2013 19:15
Goodness, LG, you have been a busy girl with the littlies :-D :-D I hope the bear enjoyed his trip to the park :-) :-) Didn't you do the honourable thing and go on the slide as well :-D :-D
LaGooner
LaGooner Report 4 Jan 2013 19:20
Oh most definately not I would have got my b*m stuck :-D. Made sure we did loads as A is back to school next week which means I only have smallest one. It makes her feel that she does not miss out on anything.
Ours go back on Monday as well. That means a huge increase in the traffic on the way to work. I am so thrilled :-P :-P The difference when the schools are closed is unbelievable. There is a zebra crossing about 50 yards from the traffic lights on the main road, straight opposite the local post office. The kids are getting off the buses and going across to the shop, then back across the road again to walk down to the school so the crossing lights are forever changing to red. It holds everything up on the main road. The sheer volume causes chaos, but once you pass the crossing the road is clear. I just love it ... NOT :-( :-(
Ours have...WAIT FOR IT >>>> a teachers training day on Monday. Why the heck can't they do them during the holidays.(best not get started on that subject) :-|. Thats where we are lucky in the village it is only if you go up the road about a half a mile where the upper school is you get the problems. So guess who steers clear of there :-D
YG
YG Report 4 Jan 2013 20:39
Teacher training days, argggghhhhhhhhh!!! :-P :-P
You are right, LG. Why on a term day????
