Read that as 'ironing walls', not 'waits' YG :-D
You have been a busy bee.

Bet the garden looks better after the litter picking exercise Maz. I can never understand why people can't take their rubbish home with them or find a bin even if it is someone elses.

We've been out for a walk around the block, with the Pub as a half way watering hole. You need something to tempt OH out of doors ;-)
We are sooo unfit for only a 2 mile walk mainly on the flat. Some of the route is across fields meaning our boots were twice as heavy by the time we got home.

It was a bright but cold day when we left, getting back just before the clouds rolled in. It might rain, but then again, it might not.

the ice cream van stops opposite our house ,and our hedge is on a corner ideal for stuffing cans and bottles in
Glad you enjoyed the walk DET its dark here but dry still

I have the same problem, although not quite as bad, Maz. Mine is a corner plot and across the road from the pub. I sometimes get an odd glass, bottle or can stuffed in the hedge, but mostly it's paper rubbish. There is a low wall that surrounds the pub car park and bottles are often left on there. I don't see the council workman now going round collection rubbish. I guess he was one that disappeared during the cutbacks.

Spent much more time paper stripping than planned, but at least it is all off now. I just have the lining to remove now. I did manage to get some ironing done, but there is a little left for another day :-D :-D

YG Report 13 Jan 2013 22:28

I will watch it next week. There is nothing worth missing on the other channels. :-( :-(

I am off for a bath and bed now. Early start tomorrow and the weather forecast doesn't look good, so may need to allow some extra time to de-ice the car :-P :-P

Sleep well, LG and I'll catch you tomorrow evening, hopefully. <3 <3

Good morning everyone. Snow has fallen overnight here as it has in most parts of UK. I am watching the children on their way to school making large now balls and sliding alnong, they just love it so much; unlike me I HATE it. I am getting ready for Yoga ( I have checked I am not locked in) I am due to go to the cinema with DIL, but we are waiting to see how the weather goes.
:-D Have a good day.... catch you later. Stay warm!

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 14 Jan 2013 11:35

Morning -

We've obviously been on the southern edge of the snow and only had a patchy, light covering, a lot of which has now melted. It might have been thicker at a higher altitude. It seems as if we'll be on the western edge of this afternoon's S.E offering as well! Ice shoe grips packed in my bag in case they are needed later - this afternoon's session won't end until about 4.45. Yawn!

Hope you enjoyed your yoga today Paula, but don't risk the cinema if the weather/roads are bad.

Hope H had enjoyed her break away from home.

Good morning DET. It is raining here but looks as though it may turn to snow any moment the sky looks very full. I hope you don't get too much where you are. I am going to ring DIL to re-arrange. Dinner is in the slow cooker, the smell of it is making me feel hungry, I may have to go and have an apple. Take care. :-D
