LaGooner Report 15 Jan 2013 21:51

Well they did have a huge vat of pink custard and a very large rissotto to keep them going. Just found a batch of Mole stew and a few Mushroom Omelettes in the larder in the throne room. They were a bit smelly but they did not seem to mind :-D

YG Report 15 Jan 2013 21:56

That sounds absolutely delightful, LG!! I bet the vat of custard had a lovely skin on it :-D :-D :-D

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 15 Jan 2013 22:00

YG Report 15 Jan 2013 22:23

Oh yuk, me too :-D :-D I'm not that keen on hot custard, although I can eat it :-D

I remember that Mum used to slice banana into it. It still makes me cringe thinking about it :-D :-D

YG Report 15 Jan 2013 22:39

I'm going to leave you with that thought and image in your mind, LG!! :-D :-D

I need beauty sleep and an early start to defrost the car, -5deg overnight. I think I had better fill a hot water bottle :-D :-D

Sleep well and I'll catch you tomorrow <3 <3

I love hot custard and banana. In fact I like lots of things in hot custard but YUKKY not the horrible cold stuff.

Take care with the icy conditions and I will catch you tomorrow after Brownies. <3

Hope you've warmed up now LG. The best way is to share body heat ;-)

PC's car was intact when she went off to work this evening. It will have another descreet inspection in the morning!! I think Thursday is her last night shift for a couple of weeks.

Apparently it did snow overnight.......but according to her, only in our road LOL. It had probably melted on the more travelled ones.

Hope your journey to work is easier YG. You've mentioned the problem with that junction before - has anyone suggested a roundabout? Then everyone can share your pain!!!!

Good luck to your friends later in the week. You'll have to get baking some comfort food to take in - all sweet and chocolatey even if you can't partake.

Morning LG and everyone.

Same here and our car still has ice on it. At least PC's is still in tact!

OH wanted to go shopping this morning before a 1330 start at work. Unless he gets a shift on, there won't be enough time!

Morning DET. I was contemplating going out this morning but one look at the fog changed my mind. It was nothing urgent so it can either wait until later or tomorrow if need be.

Good morning everyone. It looks very frosty outside but thankfully roads are clear. I have a few chores this morning, then my keep-fit class this afternoon. We are going to take birthday presents to grandaughter then out for dinner this evening. I was in bits coming out of cinema after watching Les Misérables. I was not sure it would transfer from stage to cinema, but it did, infact I think it was better. If you can manage to get out go and see it, it's a must . Have a good day and take care on the roads.

OH has gone to work in his thermals this morning :-S

LaGooner Report 16 Jan 2013 09:33

Morning Paula, my OH is dressed like an eskimo as his workshop is absolutely freezing first thing. Some of his jobs are outside so he has been coming home a bit grumpy to say the least. :-D

takes his car out in all weathers but is going to different parts

Travel safely those who have to go out in slippery conditions.

OH is now up, but not dressed. I rather think that shopping will have to happen late this afternoon!
