Morning all, it's snowing here too. Only very fine but a lot of it. :-|.

Afternoon everyone.

No snow here, and what we had is melting now. The roads are pretty good. I have been to As** just for a couple of bits and pieces and now having a relatively easy day.

Bathroom soon finished DET!!! Oh, I wish!! It's all the horrible filling and sanding bits now, apart from one wall left to strip. I am too tired during the week when I get in from work so I think it will spread over another two or three weekends yet!! :-P :-P :-P

It'll all come together quicker than you expect YG ;-)

Shame that you had to cancel your visit Paula, but as no one really knows what the snow fall is going to be, best to plan accordingly.

Even though its still coming down, OH has been despatched to clear the drive while there is still enough light. He says its about 2 - 4 inches deep which is nothing compared to other parts of the country, and quite manageable to drive in. Feel rather guilty leaving it all to him, but if I tried to help, my back would cease up. It already takes 30 mins in the morning to become flexible again :-0

am home Aunty had her op a week ago and was in a cottage hospital for a week in Rye but has gone home now ,
we have had loads of white stuff but have managed to travel in and out last night and this morning its not cold at the moment so we know what that means eh """ more snow lol

Good evening everyone. It has snowed since 1.00 just stopped, it looks so lovely from inside. I am watching the man across the road walking the dog, he is jumping around chasing his tail, the dog that is not the man :-D I hope all of you who HAVE to go out tomorrow have a good journey, wrap up warm and stay safe. It's my Yoga class in the morning but I will have to check to see the centre is open. Off for a shower catch you later. :-D

we are due a lot of snow however the penines will probably get it more than our little corner

That will just make my week, DET!! It is supposed to be starting during the night and I am on taxi service at 7.30am, picking up two colleagues and one colleague's boyfriend. I am soooooooo happy :-D :-D :-D

hello its umm Snowing here i suspect the schools will be closed today even though the roads are moving well the higher up places billy row upwards will be cut off for a while
so I am glad its a day off if you count house work a day off and a few other chores i need to plod over the shop to get some veg to make tea if i can be motivated lol ,But A will not really change as i do it cos i am here but he was lost for words a rare thing here lol he has man flu today lol

No milk delivery today which is strange. When the white stuff as been deeper he has still made it. May be he couldn't get to the depot, or also has man-flu?
Sometime between 0700 & 0730, a tractor and plough came down our Close, bless them. I'll say one thing for them, the Borough Council/HWA has a number of farmers on contract to plough many of the side roads :-D

Main road gritted and clear, so no sliding at the bottom of the hill. Still had to trudge through 6 inches in the car park though! Its going to be nasty when it thaws/freezes. I've already told them I shall be using the disabled spaces if it gets like that. Normally I'd be away when the taxis need to use them, so it won't be an inconvenience.
Back there later this afternoon - they've brought the session forward by an hour.

And OH STILL isn't up - saucepan and spoon time!!!! :-D :-D

Good morning everyone. The community centre where I go for my Yoga class was open, but the car park was untouched at 8.45 except for two cars. The centre has not been open since Friday so it was thick. People were not even attempting to drive on, I did consider parking on the road and walking across the car park but decided against it. So, half an hour with my Yoga DVD later will have to do for me today, plus several trips up and down the stairs will get the old heart beating. Did I mention before I HATE snow.

DET I hope you find a parking space this afternoon, the sky here looks full of something and we have had a forecast for more snow today. . You need Katie our cat her incessant meowwwwwwwwwwwwing and moaning is enough to get anyone out of bed.

Afternoon all gritter has just passed my window, so
are they trying to tell us something. Really bad weather
forecast for us hasn't happened yet, but very cold and
windy out.

Had a good laugh yesterday at the football players in the
snow(nothing new about that here in Scotland) what doesn't
connect with me is that planes cannot take off or land but the
beautiful game goes on. :-D
