@ GG. I don't know why when we we know we are likely get snow, for some reason we are never prepared for it. My OH went to see is idea of the beautiful game on Saturday he went and came home by taxi, then said it was not fit to go shopping on Sunday, we did of course!

Paula,I use to practise hatha yoga donkeys years ago.
Could do most of it to an intermitent standard.
Then I married and slowly gave up on it.

David, I have practised Hatha for 27 years, just before Christmas my class was assessed and I was graded Advanced by the Assessor. As you can imagine,at my age I was pretty chuffed. I practise everyday, but enjoy the meetings a great classes. You should start again, excellent for body mind and spirit.

Evening all. Have we all been slipping and sliding around today!!

We had a lot of snow overnight, but luckily there hadn't been any frost on the car, so I managed to brush it all off relatively easily and didn't have to wait for the windscreen to defrost. One colleague's bus was running late so she decided to go straight into town to catch another bus down to work, so I only had two to pick up. I found it amusing that the young one whose boyfriend I was also picking up, said 'he can walk to work from our office', but when it came to it this morning, it was 'can you just go and drop him off at work!! :-D :-D I seem to perpetually have a big sign on my forehead that says 'MUG' :-D :-D

I hope everyone has arrived home safe and sound, for those have had ventured out :-) :-)

LaGooner Report 21 Jan 2013 19:13

I have only ventured very gingerly down the path to Yidarmylass's for a coffee but otherwise stayed in. Glad you are back safe and sound YG.

ps. I have one of those signs too but mine flashes in very bright colours ;-) :-D

I just might Paula.
If you have been at it daily for that length you must be fitter and trimmer than average.

YG Report 21 Jan 2013 20:13

The snow turned very wet, mixed with rain at lunchtime and it cleared the main roads. The side roads are still dodgy, but the worst will be tomorrow morning if we have a freeze tonight as the roads are so wet. How I wish I could work from home when it is like this! :-D :-D

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 21 Jan 2013 20:16

Oh wishes he could work from home too. He comes in absolutely freezing at this time of year.

YG

YG Report 21 Jan 2013 21:12

I bet he does. I don't know how men work outside in this weather. My fingertips are frozen before I get the car unlocked :-D :-D

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 21 Jan 2013 21:49

He is used to it as he has done the same job since he took over from his Dad when he was 16. R that is not his Dad :-D

PollyinBrum Report 21 Jan 2013 21:55

Good evening everyone. I hope you are all ok this evening. It is freezing here, and will be awful on the rooads tomorrow. I have been RRd on another thread I am not sure what I said justified a RR, :-S :-S I almost feel like one of the family ,

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 21 Jan 2013 22:02

Evening Paula, I saw that on the thread. No reason for it at all, just some petty minded idiot with an itchy finger. Best ignored methinks :-D

PollyinBrum

PollyinBrum Report 21 Jan 2013 22:05

Yes I agree, it was a bit of a shock to be honest, but I will not lose any sleep over it :-D

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 21 Jan 2013 22:51
