Good evening everyone. I am now feeling very smug indeed and keep opening my wardrobes to check how tidy they are. OHs night out with the "boys" has been cancelled for the second week due to snow forecast. Now, what can we do? perhaps start on his wardrobe, on second thoughts here he comes with the G&Ts ice and lemon? I don't mind if I do. :-D :-D Have a good night everyone ;-)

Can't do spare room until lodger moves out next week. Good excuse ;-) :-D. YAL is back in force :-0. Hopefully on again later when Grandkids have gone home. Just had mini gooners collected as they have been here this afternoon.

Clear, blue skies today, and not a spot of new white stuff :-D
Last week's fall ought to melt later as well :-D :-D

Morning DET. It was a mixture of large flakes of the white stuff and rain late last night so no problems this morning. The watery sun is out at the moment so hoping for yet more to thaw today.

That's good news if your lodger needs to move 'stuff' out today, with a better chance of it staying dry. At least the roads will be safer for you!

Lodger goes later this week. Not sure what day yet.

I need to go to a neighbour later this morning and offer ourselves as a taxi service. He suddenly lost the sight in one eye on Thursday while he was driving. Understandably, he is rather nervous getting behind the wheel again, but needs to get himself to the hospital to get it checked out. He's already been to the GP...walking the 2 miles over frozen pavements. :-0
He is also 12 months into treatment for a (cureable) cancer; we'll offer our services if he has an appointment before he feels happy about driving.

We are going to Debenhams this morning OH wants to spend his Christmas vouchers, he is a rather concered with stores closing down, he fears he will lose the lot. We are going to a Burns Night tonight (a day late) Have a good day.
