We think that those who survived living in Midsommer, must have holiday homes on St Marie (Death in Paradise). That island has someone dying in suspicious circumstances every week, as well.

Hope you swollen tongue has subsided by the morning, and the foot has successfully been extracted from your manager’s mouth. Have you thought about asking her to accompany you outside and giving her a talking to? ;-)

Great news about your friend LG, I hope all goes well for her. Thankfully OH is much better, but has been advised to stay home today to avoid spreading the virus.I am going for a bit of retail therapy and lunch with my cousin, we are due to go out with friends this evening but will see how things are nearer the time. Weather is very strange, and can not seem to make up it's mind. alternate, sun, wind, and rain. :-S
Have a good day everyone :-D

Wonderful news LG - lots of tender loving care needed now ;-)

Do they serve bread and water as a main course at the evening dining establishment Paula? Hope OH is properly on the mend.

No sun, but there are patches of blue sky. Does that count?

Talking to OH last night, I said that with no ties, we ought to be a bit more spontaneous and do things while we have the health. His suggestion was washing the walls down......not quite what I had in mind :-0

'Emma' Report 31 Jan 2013 10:47

DET. I have to admit that this is our philosophy. We have both known sadness and loss, which makes you realise life is short, so go for it. Perhaps your OH needs some (gentle) working on ;-) THe SUN is winnig at the moment.

LG - I've sort of added our names to this thread for WDYTYA

http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards/board/general_chat/thread/1318558

It would be better if 'new' people had the opportunity first, but if there are any going spare?

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 31 Jan 2013 14:33

Thanks DET I had not added for that very reason as I did not want to appear a grabber. :-D. Fair shares and all that.
