Good morning/afternon/evening everyone. I have been so busy today and have just popped in to say "hello". We did our Sainsbury weekly shop today, I was armed with my "list" as usual but eneded up spending more than I had planned, don't you think prices are going up week by week ? I must admit I get sucked into the 2 for 1 or buy 2 get I free. I may start shopping online to avoid the temptation. We have visitors tonight, and I think they have just arrived. Catch you all later. Have a good night. :-D :-D

Cheeky YG. No is the answer to that I have been searching out a couple of tree questions for YAL.
Evening Paula, I suppose I will have to get the enthusiasm to write my shopping list

Ok!

I'm off to bed. I have to be up early yet again tomorrow, although not quite as early as I get up for work! No peace for the wicked :-D :-D Then after my appointment, back home to carry on stripping and sanding!!

Sleep well. I'll catch you later tomorrow. <3 <3

Evening LG, and sleep tight YG. Paula is too busy downing the post meal brandy (or G+T) to bother with t'internet!

Hope you have recovered from the jigsaw mania. You've got to get your strenght up to clear out the guest room if it is now vacant!

Paula, I've only ordered on line once. Nearly ended up with 6kg of tomatoes instead of 6, and did end up with a rather expensive 200ml bottle of lemonade. I thought it was going to be a litre. :-|
Our downfall while shopping are the items with yellow stickers...which end up in the outside freezer never to be seen again.

OH is going to be glued to the Rugby this afternoon - Come on En-ger-land!!!

Come on Scotland :-D well we need all the support
we can get :-(

Yes Det I was a child bride ;-) we will only be looking
after Amelia for 3-4 hours a full day would be too much
for us. Have a good day all.

Emma :-)

PS the avatar is of my other grt grandaughter Brogan 6 months old.
2012 was a good year for us.

Lol - I've no idea which team is the strongest. As long as they are evenly matched, it should be a good tournament. I cringe if one team is hopelessly crushed (score-wise) by another.

That's a lovely photo - the best thing about being a grandma (or grt grandma) must be handing them back when they get ratty ;-)

We're still waiting for a first grandchild
Son has only just committed to a (hopefully) life long relationship
Youngest is still trying to build a career
Eldest and her OH can't have any.

OH is the one who gets clucky when he sees toddlers running around. If or when it happens, we'll probably be in our rocking chairs!

'Emma' Report 2 Feb 2013 11:11

You may get a big surprise one day :-D

I was always happy to hand them back, think
because I didn't have the worry of bringing them
up, but saying that I think thats how we get more
pleasure from our grandchildren and grt grand children :-)

My OH said yesterday when Amelia was asleep that it
brought back lovely memories of when ours were babies..
another one who has him wrapped around her little finger :-)

Good morning everyone. It is the only true regret of my life that I do not have any grandchildren of my own, however my son has three delightful step daughters and OH as five little grandchildren, so I can say I m well blessed. OH is back on form, he made huge pan of porridge this morning, I have chaned the bed sheets and towels in the bathroom. We are now gong out to walk walk the porridge off. I hope you have a good day. I am rooting for England. <3

Morning Paula - good to hear that your OH has recovered, and fingers crossed that you don't come down with the bug.

Enjoy your walk before the match(es) this afternoon. My excercise will be rolling on the floor, trying to release a back muscle. I've a definite tilt to the right. With LG, we could make a pair of matching bookends :-D

PollyinBrum Report 2 Feb 2013 11:44

Good morning Det, OH is fine but four little of the little ones went down with it, I think it was the four year old who brought it into the house, just keeping my fingers crossed it passess me by. Hope your back is better soon, try some gentle Yoga postures. <3

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 2 Feb 2013 11:50

My friend keeps trying to get me to go to yoga - sounds like hard work.

Hope the little ones are over the bug now - they don't seem to be able to cope (or grab the bowl in time) when they are ill.

Afternoon everyone.

Where is LG hiding. Is she still asleep after have the littlies! :-D :-D

A lovely sunny day here, but a freezing cold wind. I only nipped to the local shops today so it is nice not to be running around everywhere for a change.

A friend is supposed to visiting with her 7 month old grandson, so I am going to attempt to finish stripping the paper, rather than sanding, so that I am not covered in white dust when she appears :-D :-D

Paula, pleased to hear the your OH is over his bug. With a bit of luck it will have flown over the top of you!!

DET, watch that back. We don't want you as an unmovable force again :-D :-D

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 2 Feb 2013 17:57

Evening YG - hope you rememberd to child proof your home if the little one is on the move. ;-)

May be LG is helping the move? Either that or she has seized up again. Don't worry, I sure am taking it gentle and certainly don't want to 'slip' it again.

Paula is probably waiting until her heart stops pounding after the England-Scotland win. Bad luck GG, but Scotland are still a force to be reckoned with.

Hello everyone. I have had a complete rugby feast this afternoon, OH escaped to the TV in he study when the England game came on (I think for a little nap) but I was sooooo excited my shouting kept him awake. Better luck next time GG I will be shouting for Scotland. I am sure all this excitment is giving me a thirst ;-) ;-)

Evening one and all. No move yet DET that will be next weekend now. I have caught up with lots of little chores and errands today and our son dropped in on his way home from work and has only just gone.
