morning all last day off chores and shopping ,just scrubbed theshower out so have made a start ,
painter was coming yesterday but his son's car needed a fix so he took day off dont mind cos it gave me a break he is doing a couple of hours today then ,will make a start again monday

They aren't too sure if we will catch it yet. If we do it probably won't be too much.
An historical society in NY state have sent an email saying that their 'social' tomorrow has been cancelled due to the uncertainty of Winter Storn Nero. Now that is a snow fall! It makes me cringe when we get a few inches (cm) and the country grinds to a halt.

One of the problems we have now that OH has 'retired' is that we lose track of days. It doesn't help that PC is a shift worker - we've nothing to 'hang' a day on.

I had both Mini Gooners this afternoon as H is doing a late shift. Daddy has just come and fetched them so time for a good clear up :-D

well done LG evening YG well back to work tomorrow been shopping ,done some cleaning today have two bedrooms completed ,and the bathroom ceiling ,my wardrobes are being done ,the hallway will be started next and that will be fun lol ,

I'm sick of the sight of paint brushes!! I am not progressing very quickly with the bathroom and still have all six doors to do yet :-P :-P I've got a problem with some of the plaster so that is holding me up, but I still have plenty of sanding still to do :-D :-D

Sorry YG - I thought the tea party was today, not a future event! Take your time with the decorating – if you don’t do it to your satisfaction, you’ll be staring at it for several years as you lay in the bath…..and it’ll irritate.

When we had our kitchen refitted a few years ago and did similar, I loved the way we could see exactly what was in the cupboards. Now its back to as it was with packets piled on or hidden behind others.

Don’t think we have any plans for today. If OH isn’t glued to the Rugby this afternoon, he’ll be playing SS on here, or ‘designing’ something or other using CAD. If it keeps him happy? :-D

Morning LG - ours was done yesterday, whilst watching last week's episode of 'World without End'. OH doesn't like it. He doesn't like ironing either!

Good morning everyone. Snow is falling at the moment but does not seem to be sticking thank goodness. We are going to a memorial service for a friends Mother she moved to Wrexham to be close to my friend a short time before she died. She asked to have a Memorial service at her local Church where she attended for 60 plus years for all her old friends to attend, she would have been 98 in June God bless her, she was a real character not always the easiest person to be with. OH has brought us both an ipad, it will probably take us the entire weekend to get into it, or in my case a little longer I hope you all have a good day stay safe and warm
