I have been plastering in the bathroom cupboard. Talk about having to be a contortionist!! :-D :-D BUT I am quite pleased with myself!! I am doing no more today, other than cooking dinner and perhaps a little ironing to see me through the week.

We've got a bit of brisket pot roasting, and parsnip soup made to fill the snack gaps for later in the week.

Paula, I have started getting the error messages frequently again. I do exactly as DET says and it works every time.

I have spent an hour and a half talking to my eldest gd on Skype!! She asked me yesterday to download it when she noticed that I had a webcam on the lappy.

It has been really enjoyable and I think she has got permission for me to take her out for tea one day this week after work :-) :-) :-) :-)I hope it works out for us, but I know her mother well and there is still time for a list of excuses why she won't be able to come, but all fingers and toes crossed!!

There's a light covering of white stuff with a smidgeon still falling but not enough to inconvenience, not that we intend to go out. Today I/we ought to deal with household papers and bill which are scattered around the living room.

I bet you'll really appreciate the break when the time comes Maz.

YG - Fingers crossed the g/d is allowed to come out to play. It lovely that she wants to spend time in your company.

Morning DET. We have a sprinkling too nothing to shout about though. :-D :-D. Off to our local nursery soon to get flowers to lay for my Dad it would have been his birthday today. We are lucky that here in our churchyard we have a small garden of remembrance to lay them as I cannot get down to the Golders Green crematorium very often.

On a more cheerful note, what are you all up to today. I have a heap of paperwork and old accounts to sort ready to pass on to our new Rainbow and Brownie leader. I shall be glad to see the back of that lot as it is bad enough having 7 years of OH's records here :-D

Morning LG - it sounds as if your shredder will be working overtime in the next few days, and your recycling bin full! Such a satisfying feeling when you've completed it ;-)

It certainly is DET. Always loads of excess paper in this house :-D

Pity we don't have a small pet which could use the shredded paper as bedding :-0

My son has but the ink is not good for them so you have to be careful. He shreds clean bits for him :-D :-D :-D. A pack of value A4 and away he goes, spoilt little creature it is but adorable. Must away now and get the flowers sorted for Dad. I will catch you later. <3

Good morning everyone, quite a heavy snow fall in the night, however I decided I would brave it and go to my Yoga class this morning, but it started to snow again before I had to leave the house, so had a rethink and decided to stay home. I will get on with a few chores and then some Yoga DVDs. I wish I could convince OH to do a little bit of shredding, he keeps every bit of paper. I have just gone through some papers on the desk and taken out what I think is rubbish; for him to look at when he comes home tonight. I will not hold my breath as to what he actually throws away. Maybe it's a coincidence, but my late husband was the same. I hope you are all OK and stay safe and take care if you are going out today. :-D
