Hello everyone. I have spent the morning catching up on house chores. I was getting ready for keep-fit, and received a phone call to say class is off due to snow :-( :-( We are out for dinner this evening with friends. If it is still on. The gritter lorry has just gone passed the window. :-P :-P :-P I HATE SNOW!

why does everything stop for snow lol

ol Maz I do agree but our keep fit class is for over 60s, many are over 70 /80 one lady is 90 (Honestly ). Several women live within walking distance which would not be a good idea in this weather. They area a great fun loving group, I think our instructor is just being cautious.

No snow here in the village but I popped a few miles to town and lo and behold snow !!!! must be very localised methinks. As long as it stays away from here I will be happy.

DET they were supposed to have sorted the problem but it is no better. :-P

Is the snow 'that bad' where you are Paula? What a shame that the class was cancelled. You'd have thought that mature adults were quite capable to make up their own minds as to the safely in travel....unless the instructor needed X number of people to cover the costs?

We had to clear the car of snow before we went out............ the remnants of Sun/Mon fall ;-)

Good evening everyone. Det It snowed steadily since around 10.00 this morning. I did not think it was too bad at first, but it became quite heavy around mid day. The instructor usually phones several people and we in-turn contact the rest to say it is going to be called off; everyone seems happy with the arrangement. Last time only five people turned up out of a class of 25. If it is cancelled we get our money back, when only a few turn up we all have to pay as the instructor will run the class. We are going out to dinner this evening, and thankfully snow has now turned to rain. Have a good night everyone....... stay warm. I have brought OH some more thermals for a Valentine present he is wearing them tonight ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

We have rain now but it is still bad in Darlington where i work so am glad that i am off lol

I've had cards from Billy and Jake. Billy is quite a ladies man, but he does like plenty of exercise, even though he is getting on a bit :-) :-)

Jake is the one with the muscles and is quite a hunk. It gets my heart pumping just looking at him :-) :-) <3 <3
