Good morning everyone. It's a bright and sunny morning here, no plans for this morning except a few little daily chores that need to be done. Supermarket and butchers later. Birthday party was a rather loud affair with several renditions of happy birthday and candle blowing, but such fun. :-D :-D

YG Every Thursday night I start to watch Question Time on , and have not managed to see it through to the end for weeks now. Have a good day everyone.

No wonder you're pooped Maz. You never stop. There ought to be some good deals for the IoW unless it's half term? ~Good thing that its during late winter; they grow seriously large wasps over there (shudder)

Did YG ever say who her hunks were, or is it still a secret?

OH said that we should start on our deep clean of the living room today. Yes. Well. We'll see if he still has that on his mind when he eventually arises from his slumber. :-(

:-D :-D I told OH last night I want to steam clean the cupboards in the kitchen tomorrow. He looked at me and said "WHY they are not dirty" MEN!!!

Lol - we both agree that our living room (lounge/diner) does need a good wash down, but its such a large room that it's rather daunting and will take several days. It's already been put off from the autumn, probably because we had some paid work and OH was painting the stairwell.

Now do I wake him up, or let him slumber on in ignorance and delay the inevitable for another day? ;-)

I will be kind and say let him slumber, then hit him with the news later.

The mind boggles what you are up to in the bathroom ;-) :-D. I will be spending my afternoon doing craft with 70.Brownies,Rainbows and Guides. Wish me luck. I have also just finished making 80 Eskimo Cookies :-\.

I have had just had a shower, now listening to radio before bed. You sound like you have busy days tomorrow, take care both of you. :-D :-D

Hi Paula, I am still about just chillin. If I go to bed before at least midnight I wake up in the early hours raring to go :-D. This will be my last big outing with the Guiding lot as I am retiring from it in July.

Yes I remember you saying you were retiring . It is going to be strange for you after such a long time, but there comes a time when we all have to move on. Will you still keep some connection? I reduced my working hours gradually over the last few years, I now go into college on a consultancy contract, it suits me and the college. I find I have so much to do now, but everything is much more relaxed with no permanent ties or expectations. I an sure you will have more than enough to keep you busy.

I will still help if they are Guiders short for outings or meetings as the child/adult ratio has to be maintained. I may also still remain as a Mentor for training up new Guiders but have not fully decided on that one yet. I will be kept out of mischief though as from April I am going on the Local Historical Society's committee as Archivist

That sounds fantastic. I moved to the area where I live nearly five years ago,so everywhere is still quite new to me. When OH retires (date now been given for September latest) we are going to do some historic walks, lots of old buildings of interest that he has never really had time to explore.

I am looking forward to better weather as I have loads of graves and buildings to find and record. Yidarmylass and I spent quite a lot of time last year going round some of our local churchyards and villages just strolling about enjoying each other's company and we are hoping to do the same again this year.

Oh yes we all need some decent weather, I am off to bed now LG, have a good night. I have a nice easy day tomorow, well that's the plan anyway
