Washing down finished and we are both kn*ckered, but at least it's done for another year. Now all we need to do is hire a carpet cleaner sometime next week.

I've got the shivers - hope it's just exhaustion and nothing else.

I do hope shivers are just as you say and not what my OH is suffering. He has a bug and is laid out at deaths door at the moment :-(. It's not like him at all

evening ,I have booked the 8th to the 19th of may off but will only be away a week i think I wil travel the 8th probably so i will adjust my times in the south when you know what you want to do

Feeling better now after a sit and a meal - sorry to hear that LG's OH is really rough....and that YG has over done it. Although you want to get the decorating done, perhaps it would be an idea to give it a rest next weekend?

Think I'd best say not available the 15th May. There's something about core and extended English Reading. They've change syllabus this year so not quite sure what it is - probably Comprehension which will be one of the all-hands-on-deck sessions.

Morning all - it would seem that LG's t'internet has ground to a halt today. Either that or her OH has taken a turn for the worse. Fingers cross that it isn't that.

We've decided to have a day off from cleaning, instead going pressie shopping for FiL. That will probably entail a coffee and almond croissant. Oh the hardship of it all :-D

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well with you, and all your decorating is finished (or nearly there) Det it is good to take a break and a spot of retail therapy can work wonders. Just take it easy, remember, “After all tomorrow is another day.” LG I hope OH is feeling better.
We had planned a quiet day yesterday. I prepared lunch early then we decided to go shopping for OH to get some new shirts. On the way home we went to see little ones, I became very involved with four year old J who was practising his hand writing, he told me when he has finished being four he will be five! Of course, we stayed longer than we planned so OH suggested we go to the pub for a carvery for lunch. Back home half an hour when OHs niece, her husband and the twins called in to see us. .I will be cooking Sunday lunch for dinner tonight.

DET I would love to join you all in London for the meet, I can see you are looking at some time in May, we will be in Cyprus until 19 May, other than that I can manage almost any date. Have a good day everyone the sun is shining here, but very cold outdoors.

Oh it is. my daughter Friday, mini Gooners over the weekend along with OH and hopefully not me today .

Oh dear it seems to be a most virulent virus. OH and all the little grandchildren went down with it a few weeks ago, OH was off work for three days which is unlike him. Hopefully all these nasty bugs will be gone when Spring is here.

Well at least it is quite nice outside,sunny but a little chilly. I have actually got some washing on the line today for the first time this year. Also helpful that I opened all the downstairs windows wide to dry the laminate flooring which I have right through lounge and hallway. When it is wet it is like a skating rink :-D

I can make 9th, 10th or 11th. I think I need to look at the service for a Saturday as engineering works can be a problem, but will go with the flow. Having said that, it might be a good idea to avoid Friday as the journey back from our first meet was horrendous!! :-D :-D

I am open to suggestions for dates

9th May is fine for me - If Paula can't make it then may be another time? If Maz is travelling down on the 8th, is that enough time to for you to recover? Apart from the 15th mentioned earlier, I've nothing else to avoid.

Hope LG's OH is OK after a day at work while feeling ill. Kids bring all sorts of nasties home. :-0 Make sure you rub vick in your chest so you don't come down with another cough!

Has the overnight rest helped your shoulder YG? Too much at once me thinks - a bit like our determination to get our cleaning finished yesterday.

Has anyone seen GoldenGirl recently? Hope she is OK.
