No actually I have just woke up after nodding off :-D. OH has recorded it for me so if the outcome is bad I don't need to watch it and swear

Oh dear - now there are three ailing Nutters.
(crosses fingers and backs away slowly)

Although you rarely drink LG, may be a small one in warm milk before bedtime? There's no use worrying about something you have no control over. If its the offspring, they may be your children but they are technically adults now. Easily said, I know. <3

So it's the 9th. Right? LG and I get day returns so doesn't make any difference.

Hope the shopping trip was successful Paula. Its so difficult to get something for the man who has everything :-D

Murder in Paradise on in a mo. Better than the football.
Tatty Bye ~~~~

Good morning all. Thank goodness you’ve stopped bleeding Maz. It’s the little ones which are the worst.

Has Paula said if she is away for the 9 May or will she be sunning herself by then? We don’t bite!

LG – if it helps to write the ‘problems’ down, by all means email me. <3

Still haven’t got round to hiring the carpet cleaner – OH keeps getting up too late. If we don’t do it before PC starts her run of Nights, it will have to wait for another week.

Morning one and all. Just grabbing a coffee before going out to local shop for papers then coming back and getting brutal with all the Brownie/Rainbow stuff. It needs a good sorting and putting into appropriate boxes to pass on to the new leaders. I might well take you up on that DET thanks <3

Morning LG - no larger Littlie today? Good luck with the sorting. You can have a go with our filing cabinet when you've finished ;-)

At least you have all of Friday to yourself then.....unless you'll still have the smallest? It must be so hard for parents now-a-days. Its difficult to run a household with 2 incomes, let alone 1. Child care is so expensive. Without generous grandparents or friends to help out, even more people would be on the financial rocks.

Good morning everyone. Maz I am glad your finger has stopped bleeding. LG I am just trying to pictuure you getting brutal with all the Brownie/Rainbow stuff :-D. DET You are so right it is difficult to know what to buy for OH he always says " I have everything I need", but I saw him looking at something he said he liked when we were out on Sunday, so I went and brought it yesterday. We go on holiday on the 4th May so sadly I will miss the meet I would have loved to meet you all, hopefully I can do so next time. DET how much is it to hire a steam cleaner now? I have one which cost me £99.99, it is now £69.00 plus pp. It is fantastic! Have a good day everyone. :-D

LaGooner Report 20 Feb 2013 09:57

I have Friday to myself DET oh Bliss . As much as I adore them it gives me time to get some of my own things sorted.

Morning Paula, I am a proper Magpie in that I hoard. Just got to keep telling myself that those 'useful' things are not wanted by the next leaders :-D :-D :-D

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 20 Feb 2013 09:58

May be next time Paula? Enjoy your break when the time comes.

I'll have to let you know about that Paula! I think its about £25 for 24 hours, plus the cost of the detergent which is about £12. We bought a large bottle last year and have enough left for this. It's a semi industrial machine called 'Rug Doctor'.

I had thought of investigating the cost of 'home' versions, but we only use the big one once a year, so it might not be so cost effective, or powerful. Then there is the storage issue! We can't get the hired one up stairs.

Which make do you have at home?

LaGooner Report 20 Feb 2013 10:01

Right I am off and away for now. Have a good day one and all no matter what you get up to. See ya laters :-D

:-D :-D :-D. Knowing my luck at the moment DET that would not surprise me :-D

PollyinBrum

PollyinBrum Report 20 Feb 2013 10:13

DET it is the H20MOPX5. It is very light easy to carry, I can handle it so it has to be. I use it for everything, furniture, kitchen, bathrooms. You do not have to use any product only water. THANE DIRECT are selling them at sale price at he moment. I also have a Kartcher window vac, which again is fantastic, and even easier to use thanH20... I am known as "The Queen of steam" ;-)

How long does it take for carpets to dry?

PollyinBrum

PollyinBrum Report 20 Feb 2013 10:49

I usually do them in the morning and they are dry by evening, same with the furniture, also does laminate and tiles.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 20 Feb 2013 11:51

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 20 Feb 2013 12:12

Lol -

I've made an executive decision - we'll go out late afternoon/early evening to hire it, clear most of the room before we go to bed, then make a reasonably early start (mid morning) tomorrow.
:-D
