thanks folks we go monday morning early and i dont care what the weather is like as long as we go .I am catching up with chores here lunch to organise here tomorrow ,and then we have to pack this room up because the painter will be in here .and the PC is going to be packed up so not sure when it will be out again as i am rubbish with leads and cables .so it will depend when we get back on friday .and if he has finished or not because i think its a big task in here

Chilling tonight, apart from doing some ironing!!

Bathroom cupboard walls painted, but will do the framework tomorrow, so I can rest the poorly part tonight :-D :-D

I'm chillin now too YG. I spent ages outside earlier on turning out the big shed ready to store some of H's stuff. As if I have not got enough of my own ;-)

I need to get the ironing board out, LG, boo hoo :-( :-(

Whoops sorry I nodded off. I was so stressed again last night that I only slept about an hour. Feeling a little better tonight so off for an early night and hopefully a whole nights sleep. Catch you all tomorrow I hope. Sleep well one and all <3

its snowing again we are all off to church , Froggy is heading this way after work today when A picks him up cos there are no buses over that way today .we will have lunch together .thay will go out to their other church then froggy and i will clar theis room .
I will text someone when i will return on here hopeflly next weekend but this room is a mess so we will see

Morning all - just in case you're still hooked up Maz, have a wonderful time away. Can't really say that you'll have the opportunity to sunbathe but you might come back with a wind burn tan ;-)
If the decorator has finshed before Friday, lets hope that A has made a start of putting the living room to rights.

Did you sleep any better last night LG? Has OH room to store larger items at his place of work? It was a criminal waste having to throw away or sell off very cheaply the larger items when PC moved back home. Luckily the owner of her rental was a Pastor and v happy to recycle less than perfect items to those in need amongst his flock.

OH is threatening that we should start to deep clean/redecorate this room on Tuesday. Not happy:-0

Morning DET. We have the storage sorted we think via a very helpful friend but watch this space !! ;-). Going over in a while to help pack some more boxes and hopefully get some of it over here and stowed. I did sleep better as I had the first of my little white friends that Doc gave me ages ago. I resolved not to use them but hey ho at least it worked just need to get myself up and running now. Black coffee this morning

Good luck with the packing, especially as the Littlies will want to 'help'. Mind you, as a family they've moved quite frequently - things will probably jump into the boxes without being told ;-) :-D

Fingers crossed that they will get a 'forever' home fairly soon - it must be rather disrupting for the youngsters to have to uproot yet again.

PC occasionally takes a herbal sleeping remedy from the chemist - she says she feels 'hung-over' when she wakes up. BM used to use a derivative of Valerian in liquid form when he had a run of ‘can’t get off to sleep’ from Holland and Barrett with no reported side effects.

I have to do more today, to make sure that everything is ready for the doors to be fitted, but hey ho, if I try to use my right hand as much as possible (being left handed doesn't make it easy!!) I might get on ok with the help of some Voltarol gel and a couple of strong painkillers :-D :-D

Thank you all on Ks behalf for your kind birthay wishes, he is chopping onions at the moment! then we are going to see his son who came home from hospital after a slight operation. I heard some very sad news yesterday, a dear friend passed away last week,they thought she was cured of the deadful C but sadly it beat her in the end. I walked around in a daze most of yesterday. I will be going to the funeraltomorrow, and meeting up with some ex volunteers whom I worked with almost twenty years ago. I hope you are all well and do not have too much to do today. Sorry to hear about your friend Paula - its a shock when people of our age group pass on especially if we believed they had won the fight.

I'd been nagging him in front of family about him not putting tools/equipment away - he has since said that his response was a 'Get out of Jail Free' card :-D

So sorry to hear such sad news Paula Condolences to all family and friends.

Mini Gooners do not know about the move yet as they have been with Daddy all weekend and they would not of gone to bed if H had told them tonight. She is leaving it until tomorrow so I should get quite a greeting when I go over. Lots of boxes packed and some of the furniture that is not needed in the van already.

Work today. Don't know if I'm coming or going. Came home for 2 hours for a coffee but back later this morning. To take lunch, or not to take lunch? That is the question.

Did Paula's OH enjoy his Birthday bashes? With all that good food, he'll have to go on a diet ready for the next round of festivities!

Hope YG didn't over do it with the paintbrushes... and LG got a good night's sleep. The activity yesterday ought to have helped.

I'm just watching the news about the breakthrough in macular degeneration. It seems very effective and much less distressing than injections into the eye. I wonder how long before it is available at the local hospital!!

Didn't spot the macular degeneration item, but then OH always doesn't like watching the evening news. Lets hope that it doesn't turn out to be a post=code lottery item and is rolled out across the country quickly. It might save the economy more in the long run if it means that sufferers can be independent/work for longer.

How was work yesterday? Was much done or did everyone drown their sorrows in the pub/coffee shop?

BTW YG - does your closest male relative initial start with O? My fb account keeps suggesting that we should be 'friends' :-D

Paula - hope that yesterday wasn't too upsetting. At least it would have been a chance to catch up with mutual friends.

Positive thoughts to LG who must be rushing around like a loon - so difficult trying to fulfill current responsibilities as well as re-arrange to fit around the newest ones.

Work was fine although a little 'bitty'. 0815-1015 then 1130-1230. They were on-line tests which could only be accessed within a certain 'window'. There are paper based modular ones the end of this week and next...not that I'll be working all day or every day. Most have a relatively small number of candidates in the venue I've been assigned, but one has 135. Arghhh!

OH couldn't sleep and got up at 0630. He went back to bed a short while ago :-D

Good afternoon everyone. I have been to school for my voluntary reading mentor session this morning. I am not feel on top of the world today,I don't handle funerals so good lately. Such a sad day, it was a beautiful and moving service, with my friends 12 year old granddaughter singing solo, “What is Love” I don't think there was a dry eye in the Church. It was lovely meeting up with so many old friends, hopefully we are going to meet up again soon for a happier occasion. I have prepared dinner for this evening, and have no plans to do anything else today. Take care have a food day whatever you are doing. <3
