There's nothing worse when they are defiant, especially when they get into their teens! I think V is settling down a bit now, although she still has plenty of attitude. Mum & Dad get a bit more peace as she spends quite a lot of time in her room on her computer and also has more freedom to go out with her friends at weekends, That's like a breath of fresh air for them :-D :-D

I'm off now and am going to snuggle up with a hot water bottle!

Sleep well, LG <3 <3

Teenage girls with attitude is the one reason I do not run Guides. I have had 2 of them and thats enough for me to handle :-P.

Nite nite YG sleep well and hopefully catch you tomorrow

Good morning Nut Lodgers!! Rise and shine on this damp, miserable day!!

Pedicure and food shopping are the order of the day! Well at least for the morning, then back to the grind in the bathroom for a couple of hours before I go to R's for dinner this evening. What an exciting life I lead!!

I always enjoy my food more when someone else has cooked it so I am looking forward to it and to seeing the girls :-) :-)

Enjoy your day everyone, whatever you are doing :-) :-)

Good morning YG. Gloomy one here too today. My my your life is as exciting as mine now :-D :-D. When OH gets up it's off into town then back to try and put this house into some semblance of order. We have a load to go up into the loft so that at least will be stowed. Enjoy your time with R and the girls,as you say having a meal cooked for you is always preferable to doing it yourself.

Morning all -

We are definately going to Marks this morning; we got into one of those waiting for each other loops yesterday until it got to the point where we would have hit rush hour.

It *has* to be this morning, because, guess what? The Rugby is on this afternoon! We are being taken out for a late lunch tomorrow by BM ( and possibly Eldest)..........after the Rugby match!

Rotten weather yesterday. Once the mist had cleared, it rained- sometimes torrential. Who'd have thought that during the week the local weather station recorded 17.1c, but are prediciting -1c for Monday with possible snow flurries :-0
Someone 'up there' must have noticed that I'd washed and put away my thick anorak.

So glad we are past the teenage angst stage, although they knew which side their bread was buttered. They had to moderate their behaviour if they wanted lifts. That's one advantage of having a rubbish bus service ;-)

Enjoy your time with family YG, and yours without, LG!

Good afternoon, Det I hope you have a good time with your family, rugby did not go the way I wanted it to, but that’s the way it goes sometimes I had my back to the TV most of the time. YG It sounds like you are in for a spot of pampering today, how lovely, and dinner cooked for you too, lucky girl. I have been working most of the day, helping my son prepare for his inspection next week having spent 6K on a consultant, he then decides he needs his Mum :-D I am going a Bridal Show in Harrogate tomorrow, with my friend; she is opening a new Bridal Shop, we are staying over night, so my poor dear OH is fending for himself. We are going to the Gastro pub tonight, I have been munching fruit all day, and feeling rather peckish. Have a good weekend, what there is left of it. “See” you Monday. :-D

Evening all

How sad that some of Maz’ clients are effected by Mothers Day. PC’s haven’t realised so no problem there! Take care if you have to go out in the white stuff. Well done A. He’s growing up at last!!!

Enjoy your weekend away Paula. Nothing better than spending other people’s money. The mind boggles at what sort of inspection your son is due to warrant 6K consultancy fee.

Evening DET. OH and I have had a good chill out day today. Wandered around the town, visited a friend we have not seen for a good while then home for tea and sit down with our feet up. :-D

That sounds a wonderful day's outing :-) You'll have to try to think of something else interesting to do next weekend. Pity that most of the NT/EH places aren't open yet!

LaGooner Report 9 Mar 2013 20:07

We have a Christening next weekend that will take most of Sunday as it is a big do. Saturday will probably still be searching for a suitable present for the little lad. :-D

Off to the other room for a while to be 'sociable'. Talk amongst yourselves - you'll get a sensible answer ;-) :-)

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 10 Mar 2013 07:48

Wakey wakey! If I've been up for over an hour, so should you!

Had a restless night and a dash across the landing. Hopefully its only an internal 'spring clean' and not anything else. :-0
What with thirst, a twitchy leg and tossing and turning, it wasn't worth lying there anymore. OH did his 'thumper' act with his leg earlier on, so not a particularly restful night. Might try and go back for a couple of hours later on.

Oh dear - its just started snowing. Only small flakes which had better stay that way.
Take care what ever your plans are for today.

Morning DET!! I am here and awake. Fur got me up at 6.50 so I have just been loitering with intent on here :-D :-D

No snow here >>>>> yet!! I think it is forecast for this evening.

I am contemplating my options today!! Paint brush or ironing board. Neither seem very appealing so I am off to prepare a casserole for dinner tonight while I ponder :-D :-D

Just trying to get the enthusiasm up to start sorting out this jumble (literally) of a house.
