evening all
quick look in am on a break ,today is passing quietly though a member of staff is going to be off a few days so there will be some slight ajdustments to the rota tomorrow i suspect .
we have no laying snow but it has been heavy showers on and off today

We have had a few quick flurries but none has settled, although the forecast is not good for overnight. :-P :-P

Had a busy day, but quiet on my own. Had some nice pressies last night :-) :-)

Evening one and all. A busy Mothers Day for me. Sorted out loads of rubbish so I can now walk around upstairs without tripping over and breaking my neck :-D :-D :-D

Evening LG. A busy day for me too. I am almost there with the bathroom!! Just a little more to do during the week.

Well we got some done but it is difficult as we have loads of the lodgers stuff to store away too. I know it is only temporary but it is already getting on my nerves stacked about the place :-|

It is difficult when your home is not as tidy as it normally is. I like everything in it's place and have had things lying around for weeks now in the bedroom. At long last I have managed to get some of it away in the bathroom cupboard today, but there are still no doors on :-D :-D

With the two littlies there is bound to heaps of stuff, but you will have to try and close your eyes to it for a while LG. Have you any idea how long they may be with you? Can you see light at the end of the tunnel?

Hopefully it will be a couple of months,tops. The littlies aren't the messy ones it is just that we have contents of cupboards etc all in bags and boxes stacked about. The little ones keep there stuff tidy or else they don't get their pocket money ;-)

My two are like chalk and cheese when it comes to being tidy. The little one does lots to help her Mum and puts all her toys away. The teenager >>>>>>>>>>>>>> well, say no more!!

When I was her age I had to walk the dog after school, and on Sundays I had to either vacuum and dust or help prepare the dinner. They don't know they are born today!!

Omg, I've just looked out of the window. There is plenty of that 'orrible white stuff falling and settling. The car roofs are covered. What a delight it will be in the morning :-( :-(

I have just had a lovely hot soak so I think I will retire while I feel relaxed. Back to the grind again tomorrow. I'm counting days down now to my week off. It can't come quick enough :-) :-)

If we are still meeting on 9th May would you let me know what time I need to arrive as I want to book my ticket before it gets any more expensive. I meant to do it a month ago, but the days go by without realising it, so it will have already increased in price.

Train times - How about people arriving in London about 11am subject to the cost of tickets? It would take us about 45 mins to get to where ever we decide to meet (inc a loo break ;-) :-D )

Good morning all - a strange day yesterday with a late lunch/early dinner at 4.40. Service was terribly slow but they were rushed off their feet and it was worth the wait. We got back home about 7pm feeling rather stuffed! It was good to see BM and his partner.

Hope you made some inroads into the piles of clutter LG. Although not especially tidy, it really irritates me if large items are not put back quickly where they belong eg the spare chairs got down from the loft for large gatherings. It must be so much more difficult if there isn't space to store extra things.
Any chance that a neighbour ;-) can take some?

We're having snow flurries but it isn't really settling except on the car and grass. It shouldn't cause any problems for me to get to work this afternoon.

Maz - have a look at the timings for cheap day returns and tell us when the earliest arrival in London is on one of those. On the Trainline.com, I think it's the 0929 arriving London 1104. You could also get a Supersaver if you pick the right return journey!

You can keep the depth of snow up there - we've got a sprinkling, but its been coming down for most of the day. The wind is whipping it up into blizzard conditions, and cuts right through you. Horrible!

loads the snow catapult ping there have loads take your pick its horrid ,i will look at the times at some point but the commuter trains are a no go 11 ish should be ok

morning all a day off lol but need to get my act together as the painter is here he has finished the main job now but is going to continue with some extras that i have assigned him to do ,well he offered and he is good .the bill is just getting extended lol

Morning Maz - Once the painting is done, you won't need to do it again for a number of years, so it must be worth expense :-)

We've had a couple of inches of the white stuff now although it's deeper in places because of the drifting. The main road hadn't been gritted when PC came in last night about 8.30, but there are cars gingerly moving along it now.

I'm hoping that my oppo can get out of her side road on the other side of the valley (higher than us, so probably deeper) otherwise I'll have to clear both mine and PC's car to go out and 'cover' her session later this morning. I forgot to bring the wellies in from the outside cupboard. Mind you, OH didn't think about it either!

I must be psychic! Just had a phone call to ask if I could cover this morning’s session – my oppo can’t get out of her road. As I don’t have to be there until 11, there is time to get OH up to help clear the cars (evil cackle!) :-D :-D
