Usually have to experiment. I do know how to put it to silent....and then forget to turn it back to 'noise'. Not that makes a difference to me answering. No one calls me....because I never answer it anyway! :-D ;-) :-0

Oh - is your's the missed call from an unknown number I might spot 3 days later? :-D ;-)

My phone is in my bag, which is left in the hall. If I do hear a funny noise, I usually think it's the TV or Radio. Call me a dinosaur - I don't mind!

Best go, after being presented with a bacon butty by OH. I wonder what he is after? No, Not that!

LaGooner Report 19 Mar 2013 12:55

Ok if you insist.....Dinosaur ;-) :-D :-D. I am going to sort lunch now as paperwork is done :-D :-D. Catch you later. a bacon butty sounds soooooo good

YG Report 19 Mar 2013 18:16

Oooh, a bacon butty sounds good to me too :-D :-D

My mind is working overtime now, wondering what DET's OH was after :-D :-D

Don't worry, LG, my phone will be charged to the hilt, switched on and I do know how to text. I can't risk being stranded at KX so I will need to find you, or otherwise goodness only knows where I will end up if I am let loose on the tube alone :-D :-D :-D

I hope you enjoyed your lunch, Paula. :-)

We finished up at the pub yet again, three times over eight working days, saying farewell to three more colleagues. The last one leaves tomorrow, so eleven will have left, one is being transferred back to the department where she originated from, five have secured the internal posts they applied for and one has had her contract extended for another three months.

It has been a very difficult time and there is no-one left to pick up all the work apart from the four of us in our team. :-( :-( :-(

YG We had a really lovely lunch, I met up with some of my friends one of whom I had not seen for 26+ years. It was as though we had only seen each other last week, talking about old times, catching up with our families children and grandchildren, and copious cups of tea.

:-D :-D :-D

I'm just looking at tickets and there is train that stops at Stevenage at 11.00am. It gets to KX at 11.28. Shall I book that one so we can travel the last leg together? Other than that I can get the 9.16 that gets into KX at 11.01.

There is a train back at 18.03 or 19.03 at a reasonable price. I think I prefer the later one. If i remember rightly we got one about 19.30 last time we met in London, didn't we?

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 19 Mar 2013 22:12

Get the one direct to the cross as I will have difficulty getting on at Stevenage. I can meet you at the coffee shop by the information boards you can't miss those since they have rebuilt the station I think we travelled back about that time on our last visit.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 19 Mar 2013 22:20

My train will arrive at the cross at 11.02 if I get on at my local station

YG

YG Report 19 Mar 2013 22:47

Right it's done, after a lot of messing about and getting my unmentionables in a twist!!

Arrive KX 11.01,Depart KX 19.03. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

I meant to book the 19.30, but never mind, at least I will get home a bit earlier to rest the tired feet :-D :-D
