I'm back :-D :-D :-D. Dashed off to do some of the dreaded as I am going to Mini Gooners school this afternoon to read to the class. It is part of the bookweek activities and I am really looking forward to it. I love getting into character with the voices etc.

Lodgers are no problem at all (for now) quite the opposite. I think the worries of last month had finally caught up with me but I feel much better for nodding off last night I had about 10 hoours sleep in all.

Hope the cats eye will be ok i use cold tea bags on ours that seems to clear them up .am sorting through my pictures and clutter again here

Froggy has gone upwards before the ski lift shuts he has put my roller blind up for me on the landing upstairs .its abit more homely now here .lots of bare walls but its getting there
a lot of my pictures need new frames so have measured them ready to buy more

I hope Handsome Harry's eye will be ok at the end of the treatment, Paula. I took Duffy last night to have his claws clipped as they seem to have stopped shedding now and they tend to grow inwards a little. He is a lot happier now :-) :-)

A colleague's daughter has just secured an apprenticeship today, eighteen months since leaving school. She has done the unmentionable season at Royal Mail twice and had a handful of interviews, but no luck until now. I'm really pleased for her.

LG, pleased to hear that things are settling down at home for you. :-)

Evening one and all, Just frozen my assets going out into the garden to get the washing off the line. Feels as though there will be a frost tonight. :-P

Morning all – How good of Frog to be your handyman Maz. Hope he got home safely before the Ski lift stopped for the night!

Fingers crossed for Paula at the weekend so that she can travel to visit family. Our Eldest has a friend from California flying in today to stay for a week. They are supposed to be taking her to visit another friend in Norfolk over the weekend, driving from Surrey. I wonder if they’ll make it? I doubt if the CA friend has seen ‘ordinary’ snow before!

We might catch a bit of the snow fall, but as we have no need to go out, it doesn’t matter. Just as well YG is on her vacation now – no need to slip and slid through the traffic to get to work.

I wish I could get back to my 8 hours sleep, let alone 10. That dratted 7.15 driver!

PC is a yo-yo. We hope that she has finally found her feet, but when you flat share, there is a tendency to go your separate ways after a while and she can’t afford to live by herself. She and the b/f are going to make lemon meringue cup-cakes/muffins today in exchange for a roast beef dinner. Guess what will be for dessert?

Morning everyone.

Well it could be a lot worse! It has been snowing constantly through the night and still is, but it is mixed with rain at the moment so not settling too much. It's supposed to last all day today and tomorrow.

I had to be out early to go to gp, but am now nice and warm at home! Going to get the nails done and then start the unmentionable tasks (I always do things the backwards way on!!) I don't mind the unmentionables when I can take my time.

It just feels so good being away from work. The last two leave next Thursday, so it might be a pub lunch and my friend who left two weeks ago will go as well.

I hope the snow doesn't spoil everybody's plans for the weekend.

DET My son and family are coming here, it is only about a twenty minute drive, so hopefully they will be okay. Hope your daughters plans go ahead, how long is her friend staying perhaps they can rearrange the visit to Norfolk, having said that she pobably thinks this snow is a slight fluttering.

Handsome Harry is feeling very sorry for himself, but enjoying lots of love and attention, even Princess (little cat, named by granddaughter) is showing him more attention, he is back to Vet in the morning to see if everything is OK.

I have hair appointment later, then OH has Drs appointment this afternoon, and we are due to meet friends for curry this evening, but we will check before we leave.

morning all well its very cold here keeps snowing but not laying yet however the cars coming into town have a good three inches on .
i am looking at my garden its wet and boggy so am not doing any nothing is growing anyway so
