Evening YG. Only a bit of sleet er so far . How about you ?

It's snowing hard now and settling. Tomorrow morning should be interesting if it carries on like this all night. We have been lucky though, because other parts of Yorkshire have had it really bad today.

Pleased I don't have to go far, if anywhere, tomorrow as I have done the food shop today.

Off with my hot water bottle again. I haven't felt good tonight, so have been dozing on the settee. Tomorrow is another day, so hopefully will be much brighter!! :-) :-)

Morning all, the dreaded white stuff appeared overnight :-| :-| :-| :-| :-P. Still going to although very light at the moment.

Morning LG. It has certainly dumped itself here. It's like the middle of winter :-P :-P There's a good 2-3 inches and it has drifted with the wind. At least I don't have to go out, thank goodness. I haven't seen a bus go past yet so I don't know whether they are running. :-P :-P :-P

About the same here YG. I have got to get some food shopping in but will wait until OH gets up as he can drive in it ;-). I think ,looking at the sky that there is a good bit more to come Oh Joy !!!! :-P

The buses are running. One has just gone past, so I think the roads will clear in time. It is a good excuse to stay in where it is warm and get on with some jobs that need doing!! I was just going to say that it has stopped, but it has changed it's mind :-P :-P

I am off to get dressed, have breakfast and make myself presentable. I have someone coming to give me a quote for painting the internal doors. I have decided to pass on doing them myself. I'm sick of the sight of paint brushes!! :-D :-D

Hope you enjoyed your Curry yesterday Paula and the roads have been well gritted today.

That last phrase should apply to everyone on the thread. Do take care if/when you go out. We have nothing lying; just a bit of ‘something’ falling from the sky.

Eldest’s friend is flying home next weekend and there isn’t any wriggle room to delay the trip to Norfolk without the indigenous people taking additional time off work. I think Eldest is on Leave, but the person they were/are going to see isn’t.
The visitor is a wimp – she wraps up in a scarf and gloves when the temperature ‘at home’ drops below 20c and avoids winter sports like the plague!

No plans for today, but then that’s the norm.

morning all have a fun day making snowballs .I was going to buy some new pans before work but its so bad am going in early me thinks

Nah - can't be bothered with snowballs; we'd have to scrape the frost off the inside of the freezer to make them ;-)
Good thinking about leaving for work early - they always say to allow extra time in poor weather conditions!

I'll send you some snow DET I'll just load up the catapult and it will be on it's way. :-D
