Hang on - you need to keep on the good side of me. I've won in the Euro Lottery!

Wait for it...

£7.70! :-D :-D

LaGooner Report 23 Mar 2013 10:40

WOW don't spend it all at once :-D :-D :-D. You won more than me then.

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 23 Mar 2013 10:45

Lol - I've probably broken even if you consider the investment over the last 4 months. We're last of the big spenders ;-)

It ought to cover the cost of our next coffees and (one) bun at Sains :-)

:-D :-D :-D. I invested mine in a piggy bank

With a couple we know, the husband bought 2 x £1 tickets every week. The wife saved £2 pw into a savings account.

Guess who had more at the end of 12 months? That's right, the wife!

OK, someone has to win big on the Lottery, but the odds are very low. It saddens me when I see poorly dressed people spending £10 on tickets.

Hmm don't even go there with the unemployed etc buying tickets and scratchcards :-| :-|.

Right I am up and away as OH has just arisen. Catch you sometime later and have a good day no matter how much or how little you are doing. <3

Desperation, I suppose :-0

Have a good day. Might pop back later to see who's around unless OH decides on SS.

Good morning everyone, it is still snowing here, but not as heavy as it was earlier. We had a great curry at our local Indian, it is actually within walking distance, but it was snowing so badly last night OH drove down in two minutes. We have rearranged Sunday lunch until next week (or the first Sunday without snow). Looks like its just me and OH, which will be nice <3 <3 I hope you all have a good day. :-D :-D :-D

Evening all.

You can keep your six inches up there, thank you, Maz :-P :-P I hope you manage to get to work ok.

The snow has stopped here and although the roads are reasonable, the paths and side roads are very slushy. With overnight frost it will be lovely and slippery in the morning :-P :-P

I did venture out this mid afternoon to get some coconut feeders for the robins in the garden as they had demolished the previous one, so I also opted to drive to that diy place to take some paint back and change it for undercoat for the doors. My 'man' is coming on Monday to paint them. Yippee, I am almost there >>>>>>> till next year, anyway!!

I need to get 5 litres of masonry paint for one wall outside when and if the weather improves. I was gobsmacked at the price >>>>>>>> £60 per tin :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0

I will be staying where it is warm tonight, snuggled up watching the tv :-D :-D

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 23 Mar 2013 19:25

Evening - just popped on to see how everyone is doing. Good to see that the weather hasn't really curtailed people's plans for today.

Shame that Paula's family meal has to be cancelled, but at least it's something to look forward to on Easter Sunday!

We've had 'stuff' falling from the sky all day, but most of the time it was rain.

He's been playing SS, and I snoozed wrapped up in a shawl. The CH isn't getting up to temperature, but he keeps delaying calling someone out. I think he is worried that it might be cheaper in the long run to get a new boiler as the wretched thing keeps going wrong. He doesn't like disturbing the moths in his wallet!
It's not cold indoors, just not as quite as warm as we'd prefer. At least we ought to be saving on energy costs!

Have a good evening
