There has been a very light dusting of snow overnight and a heavy frost so I don't think I will be out weeding the borders, but it is a another lovely bright sunny day here, so it is motivating me to get some more unmentionables done.

I'm convinced that the light levels at the spring and autumn equinox tend to show up the grubby state of things, more so than other times of the year. It could be that the increased light levels in the spring after a dark winter gives us more energy to do a deep clean.
As Maz and YG both work, they have to fit in the domestic stuff during their holidays or days off. What a waste, but it isn't as if the weather is good enough to go out for the day. :-(

We've posted our application form this week for the NT to force us out of the house. Yay!

No plans for this weekend. PC is round her b/f's, Eldest is going to her in-laws and BM is on a Stag Do then may decorate while his partner is in France visiting her parents. We'll probably sit watching TV or playing on the computer. :-(

Well I have got the cleaning finished and the hydrangea bushes dead headed. The sun is still shining and it is lovely at the front, but rather chilly when it clouds over./

As my cough and cold are getting the better of me I have now decided to recline on the sofa for the rest of the day :-( :-(

The family have gone to London for the weekend and then dil and the girls will stay on in Epsom where my son works through the week. They have booked tickets for the O2 for Monday evening to see One Direction. I am very jealous :-P :-P :-P

Evening YG, I was so chilled I nodded off . I woke up with a rather heavy cat on my legs ouch.

I had a sleep at tea time. Set the alarm for 1 hour to make sure I woke up before bedtime!!

I think I will be off to bed earlier than usual tonight.

Same for us methinks. We both nodded off ,OH missed the Boxing and I missed footie highlights :-|.

I have had an easy day. Just put some new silicone in the bathroom window and cooked dinner. My friend called in with a large egg for me so we had coffee and a chat.

I thought you were supposed to be resting YG, not busying yourself with DIY! I hope your time in the garden helped to blow some germs and cobwebs away. I'm hoping to busy myself in the garden today. There has been a light snow fall but it's supposed to be sunny later this morning.

I liked your comment about your OH and dust DET, my OH actually noticed my efforts and commented on how busy I had been, that's a turn up for the books! I could actually get away with not doing anything other than the floors. I think he must go around the house with his head down.
