Had a lovely day out. After the meeting I bought a pasty and coffee then ate it sitting on a bench in Lincoln Inn Fields (or it might have been Grey's Inn....somewhere around there).
After that, it was off to the Probate Office and a fascinating couple of hours searching the big ledgers. The computer search isn't much cop as it seemed to want the dod despite giving the option of a search year range. I wouldn't throw up my grandfather's until I put in his actual dod. :-|
The Entries after 1966 don't give the Administrator/Executives names which is a shame.

OH has offered to take us out for an evening meal. Yippy! :-D

Oooh, sorry, I got waylaid, LG. I am trying to suss out how to copy music from Itunes to my phone. I haven't succeeded and given up. Not much of a techie when it comes to things like this! :-D :-D There is a cd that I want to download from Itunes. I know how to do that, but not how to get it onto my phone! Arrrgghhh!

They call them smart phones!!! Mine nearly drives me mad :-D :-D

I don't find them very smart :-D.The kids have them but not me :-P mine is just a standard flip phone.

Evening all, yes I am on childminding duties for the rest of the week until Fri evening when they are going to dads until Monday. Thank goodness she is a well behaved little soul and keeps herself entertained whilst I do the dreaded.

Hopefully no Shingles as this is the forth time I have been in contact with the pox in as many months. :-D

Maz - we haven't decided a time yet. As you and YG have he furthest to come, we'd better work it around you two. Add on c 45mins from YG's arrival as I think it was about that long for them to get to our side of London. I think my first 'cheap day return' gets in about 1010 then approx every 30 mins after that.

Washing on the line already - I'd put it through last night to hang out as soon as I was up :-D

We're hoping to go into town to the BHF charity shop; PC has seen a bedside table which she thinks matches the one we already have. They have some quality furniture in there at really cheap prices (compared to new)
Then all being well, we'll visit the local NT garden we didn't make last week. They're only open on a Wednesday afternoon.

i am easy as i can leave anytime so ,what time is YG getting in ?
we could meet first again i guess two is easier to meet two again .
