Evening all, brolly at the ready :-| :-| :-| :-|. It's been lovely today and we spent the afternoon pottering in the garden

Evening LG. I've only got a big one and I'm not carrying that around with me :-D :-D

I finished up not getting shoes! I will manage with what I've got and a pair of flip flops tucked in my bag, just in case!!

I have done all the gardening this afternoon and feel quite pleased with myself. Having a well earned rest now :-D :-D

Same here YG. I have only got to clear some of the sludge from the pond and get OH to install the new pump I bought last year. We put it away safe and couldn't find it again ;-) :-D.

I take it that you've found the pump now then, LG!! :-D :-D

My neighbour has found someone to do the gardening for me (so he says, so I'll have to see if he turns up!) It is getting a bit much for me to keep up with, so I hope the guy comes.

Yes the pump turned up in OH's shed. I usually keep all the gardening and pond stuff in my little metal shed but goodness knows why we put it in his. If anything goes in there it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack :-|

My shed is lovely and tidy!! I know where everything is :-D :-D :-D :-D But then, I don't have a man to mess it up :-D :-D :-D

Back to the grind tomorrow, so I am off to bed for an good night's sleep, I hope :-( :-(

The weather here is supposed to be pretty good tomorrow and warmer than today, so I will certainly be grumpy at work as the heat doesn't suit me in the office :-P :-P

Shame you missed the last of the summer, but at least the long weekend was good. That must be a first for many years! Lets hope that this year doesn't turn out like last - a brief spring spell which was really good followed be many soggy months :-(

Littlies were tired so went off to bed early. Rainbows was easy as I am not running the meetings now just assisting the new leader, she is really into it as she is a teacher of the same age group.

Still contemplating what to wear on Thursday. It really is not a good forecast :-P :-P I was going to bring a telescopic umbrella but if the wind is up it won't be a lot of use unless I want to do a Mary Poppins act :-D :-D :-D
