Not too bad a day, LG. It could have been a lot worse :-D :-D

Have started with a sore throat tonight though, so hoping it doesn't amount to much :-( :-( There is already one team member off with laryngitis!

How is the hayfever today?

Oooo heck don't you start YG. I have had horrible itchy and running eyes today but otherwise not too bad. I have been indoors for most of the day so that has helped.

I am hoping that a good night's sleep might cure it, LG!! I only managed six hours last night, in two hour intervals, so I am shattered tonight.

A last cuppa and then I am off to bed :-) :-)

I have just finished the first load of washing. Not sure what I am doing today, other than the unmentionables. May sit out in the garden this afternoon if it is warm enough or cut the grass at the back.

i need some time to weed the borders properly so hopefully it will stay dry enough on my days off next week .

Fur let me lay in for an hour longer than my usual alarm time, and I was going to go back to bed with a cuppa and my kindle, but I have someone coming to pressure wash the back paths and I can't remember which Saturday we arranged, so I thought I had better stay up and get dressed :-D :-D :-D Wrong decision, because he would have been here by now, but there is always tomorrow to sleep in :-D :-D :-D

We've been invited to BM's for lunch - the powers of suggestion from his siblings ;-) Although OH has been there a couple times since they moved in a year ago to help out with DIY, I haven't been invited to see the place since helping BM move in.
Not sure if it will be a BBQ in their tiny courtyard garden, a meal cooked at home, or all off down the pub.

Morning DET. Whatever the meal I do hope it will be enjoyable for you all. Up to bash the saucepan in a minute to wake sir. Just going to potter about today and do a food shop as the cupboard is bare. Only the two of us until late afternoon so going to make the most of it. :-D.

Home again after a BBQ - a first try-out before the 'in-laws' arrive for a stay next weekend. Although it turned a little too chilly to sit out towards the end of the afternoon, it was quite pleasant while we were eating.

Hope those who wanted to get down to some gardening were able to do so.

No gardening done :-( :-( But I have been busy doing unmentionables and then food shopping. I will leave the gardening until tomorrow, weather permitting.
