Not sure what they were doing on the ceiling, Maz, but LG tried to send them back to Mersey's thread, but she threw them back across.

If they had been boxers we might have considered leaving them up there as a flag, but not Y-fronts. They should be in a museum :-D :-D

Mazfromnorf Report 7 Jun 2013 20:05

Morning. Enjoy your shift, Maz and the weather! :-) :-)

I am just having a bit of 'me time' before I start the unmentionables. I have already done two loads of washing, stripped the bed and had a bath, so not bad for this time in the morning!!

Have a lovely day everyone :-)

Good grief YG! As we know Maz has odd shift times, its not unexpected for her to be up and doing at the crack of dawn. But you on a staying at home day????

Both of you enjoy the sun while you can - its only supposed to be getting up to 16 here; not really sitting outside weather. Even when it was warmer during the week, there was a cool breeze which kept the temps down in real terms and (in my opinion) discourged bare arms. :-0

Eldest &Co are supposed to be dropping by for a couple of hours this afternoon - goodness knows when we last saw them!

YG Report 8 Jun 2013 09:28

Morning DET.

I don't think the day will be as warm as yesterday, there is more cloud, although they said it would burn off through the morning.

I must admit that I can still feel a chill in the air out of the sun and evenings are quite nippy for June :-( We used to sit out in the garden all evening some years ago, so I don't know whether it is a change in the climate or just me getting old :-D :-D

I hope the family do drop in to see you. It will make for a very pleasant afternoon for you both. :-)

Morning all -

Hope you managed to get enough sleep Maz. It's surprising that you didn't stay in bed longer than you did. Its so difficult for party givers now that there is 7 day a week opening hours; it used to be that you could party on a Saturday and not be too concerned that you would be disturbing people who have to work the next day.

Is A having to have time off work, or are the infected parts covered by clothing? What a bind - you have enough laundry as it is!

Our front windows need a clean before the (any) sun gets on them later this morning so we can put the nets back up. We also need to do a dump run to get rid of garden waste. As it always messes up the car boot, OH is coming round to getting a garden waste bin from the council even if it does cost us a bit more each year.
