Afternoon - if it hadn't clashed with another programme, the Cat one did sound interesting even for non-cat lovers to watch.

We could probably get hold of some old copies of thepink coloured Financial Times to suppliment the local rag! Mind you, Anaglypta with a tasteful coloured varnish is darned hard work work to remove - if we used that, it would take LG some weeks to change the colour scheme back again :-D

well i have been doing chores and also shopping back at work tomorrow .I was going to cut the grass but we have had some heavy showers so have had to leave it .will try and do it sunday after work maybe

We actually saw this sun this afternoon! Shock, horror. What was that yellow orb in the sky? Aliens come to take over???? I nearly shed one of my 2 jumpers. Where is summer???

If it's dry, you could ask the Lodger to mow the lawn. Even if he is giving you housekeeping, I bet it isn't the commercial rate for B&B + Evening meal and all that laundry he creates and uses your electricity and water to clean, let alone your time ;-)

I wanted to cut the grass this weekend,but it doesn't look hopeful. I need some goats :-D :-D OR ERROL :-D :-D :-D

Hoping the weather is ok tomorrow as I will be helping on a market stall for a couple of hours

morning all , we have had torrential rain overnight and i am sleep over tonight so if it stays dry i may get it cut when i get in tomorrow ,I am not sure when i am off this week so .it will be hard work as its grown even more overnight .so errol needs to come here too

There has been more rain here, so the grass will have to wait yet again. I left the main lawns the last time I cut the grass in the back garden as I had put some seed down, so it is starting to look like a jungle at the front.

Off out to have hair coloured and cut this morning, then son is coming this afternoon to finish odd jobs in the bathroom, so I will enjoy his company for a couple of hours.

Will do!! I have put the first load out and keeping fingers crossed. It seems to be brightening up a bit, but I'll probably come home to a line full of dripping wet clothes :-D :-D

Despite watching OH turn his alarm off last night, the wretched thing went off at 7am. Not a happy bunny :-|
He's OK as he just turns over and goes back to sleep. Mind you, the postman rang the door bell a short while ago. That got him up even though he didn't have to answer it :-D

Well I'm back it stayed dry and a little breezy. Good few book sales made and possibly a few new members. Just got home after popping into the nearest town for a couple of bits and it is now pouring down. :-|. No gardening this weekend methinks.

Well, the clouds were threatening, but apart from a couple of spots, that's all they did. I decided to take a chance with the grass cutting and have done it all!!! It is lovely blue sky and sunshine, with a dry forecast for tomorrow :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Son has been and done all the bits in the bathroom so it is chill time now.

Pleased that you got through the day without rain at your market stall, LG. That would help to raise the coffers a little.

My day has been totally thrown off course today, so I need to make a trip to the supermarket tomorrow morning. Yuk :-( :-(

Glad to read that you managed to stay dry and do what you wanted to outside. When ever I stuck my head out doors, it nearly got blown off! There was a nip in the wind as well :-0
